    Arte needs to WAKE THE BLANK UP!!!! Someone needs to wake the heck up! 5 of the 9 hitters in this lineup suck, and one other (Cozart) is decent at best. WTF are they waiting for? And why did they call Morris up? He’s been useless!!!! Krol has potential!!!!

    I assume we get the Tiggers’ tip two pitchers this series (Boyd and Fulmer). When do we get to face easier pitching??? The past 37 games are ridiculous. Very few bad pitchers faced?

    How many teams have ever had two regulars with under a .510 OPS this late into the season. It’s quite putrid!!!!! And WTF does Valnobuena bring to the table that JMF doesn’t???? At least give JMF a try????

    There's something fishy going on. When was the last time a team had an ERA this low this far into the season? This is freaking 1968ish! Cleveland and Baltimore led the AL in team ERA in 1968 (pre-DH era) at 2.66.

    Oyler did have a higher OPS (.399 OPS) than Calhoun currently has. Correction, Oyler had 247 PA's that year. Still a lot.

    Unlike Valnobuena's numerous K's here (40 Ks and only 6 BBs in 129 at bats), JMF has only K'd 13 times with 20 BBs in 153 at bats so far for SLC to go with the .993 OPS. Seems like that would translate decently enough to facing AL pitching.

    The one I remember from 50 years ago....Tiggers SS Ray Oyler hit .135 in some 240+ at bats.

    I'd just keep all 6 pitching up here, limit their starts but also allowing them to pitch a little deeper into games. The bullpen at this rate will be gassed by August.
