    Definately better for the PAC-12 than a year ago, to get 5 teams A year ago, LB was the ONLY SoCal team to make it (SDSU considered LoCal). A year ago, the PAC-12 regular season champ (U-Dub) didn't even make it.

    Hey Percy, now that LB State dropped the ball in the BWCT this past weekend, I kick myself for not going to Arizona. Looks like a great time was had. Sorry that I didn't post on here sooner Two weeks until the season starts, and the rants also mean something!

    Unfortunately, the last time LB hosted an NIT game was 1980, and that was at the ACC against Pepperdine. All seven NIT games since then have been on the road. The Pepperdine game and the 1990 first round game at ASU are the only NIT games that LB has ever won.

    Agreed on SFA, as they are tough to play with their defense. LB won't make it through Waco in the first round. Baylor is a top 50 team that routed Kansas earlier this season and barely lost to top 25 Okla St. recently. Wait till next year! lol

    I wish LB had recruited the Fro. Wilder is a brilliant student and on court leader, and played HS ball right in LB's backyard at Wilson HS.

    Was it dirty? No way Was it a foul? In the context that the defensive player has to let the offensive player land, Yes. Jones needs to understand how dangerous that play is, and how ankles can easily get rolled. But I believe that it was an accident. He just needs to be more knowledgeable.

    There's still the issue of pitchers being flip flopped between starter and reliever though. It's not helping Feliz and Ogando in their development, that's for sure.

    Even though HS catchers' arms are nowhere nears developed, I still saw potential for Cowart as a baserunner given his 36 for 36 SBs his senior year in a short HS season.

    UCI scares me. Good defensive schemes, good 3 point shooting, and of course Davis in the middle If only TJ Robinson could have been even half as good defensively as Davis, LB would have beaten UNM in the NCAAT even without LarryAnderson and maybe have beaten Louisville too to reach the Sweet 16.
