Are people gonna still cry about how unfairly he was done during the season when he’s still not on a roster? So weird how so many people who never spew bullshit about how the league needs to show compassion to any other player are white knighting the shit out of this dude. He’s an asshole who no one is interested in doing business with and he earned that reputation on his own. The hilarious thing is that back when he was a free agent before he signed with the Dodgers plenty of people were saying they thought he seemed like a dick and was annoying

If the Angels sign Bellinger you’ll hate him more by this time next year

The pen has been completely reworked this offseason, which players do you think will shine and how do you see it shaping up this season? I'm guessing we're likely to start with
Estevez
Stephenson
Moore
Soriano
Garcia
Cimber
Cisnero
Suarez
with Bachman and Quijada starting the season injured, and Joyce, Herget, Mederos, Wantz, Caceres, Zuniga as options on the 40 man, and Pomeranz, Kolarek, Strickland, Marte, and Crouse on minor league deals behind them

Yep. I'm curious to see if there are any incentives built it. If not, this is just a tiny step up from a minor league deal, really.

Yikes. $1.5M? MLB Trade Rumors projected a 2-year, $18M contract. LOL.
Hard to believe there wasn't a stronger market, I would've expect him to get around $10 million for 1 year

The most disappointing thing about the offseason is the lack of selling on our part. The team should look to rebuild during 2024-26 (the Rendon years) and see the Trout/Rendon/Ohtani era as over. After that payroll will be reset and we could potentially have a nice collection of young talent on the roster. Obviously Trout will still be under contract by then but don’t operate as though his production should be relied upon, just treat everything he contributes as a bonus. Sell anyone who won’t be a key player or will be nearing FA status by 2027 (Drury, Estevez, Thaiss, Sandoval, Ward, all the recent 1 year bullpen signings at the trade deadline).

not referring to anyone. most guys who sign minor league deals were awful the year before, and sometimes they wind up being pretty great, as in Matt Moore. Odds are likely Hunter Strickland won't be great, but we never expected Blake Parker to do what he did for a bit here.
It's just funny any time anyone is signed to a minor league deal there's usually a handful of people complaining in some way.Doesn't seem like anyone is complaining here

It’s time we consider signing Trevor Bauer

If all the talk about wanting to sign him was related to this I wouldn’t make the posts that I do. But it’s not, people are absolutely going on weird tangents about how badly Bauer deserves to be in the league, how unfairly he was treated, and I just shake my head.
