Yeah, he alone more than makes up for the lack of previous homegrown stars. And then some.

In the "What if" category I was thinking last night what if Harvey had continued his second half from last season, Cahill had maintained his form from last season, and Allen had returned to form.
We would certainly be in the thick of the race, perhaps even on Houston's tail.

Seems like the obvious choice. Hopefully he performed well enough while here to land a job elsewhere. I wish him luck.

We can only speculate at what Albert's thought process was behind his statement, but Angel fans have a right to be upset at his words.

I travel a lot for work and have the opportunity to see games all over the country. From my personal experience the fans in St Louis and other stadiums are more like the fans on this board; knowledgeable about the game and passionate about their team. You don't see that at the Big A.
If you guys could fill Anaheim stadium every night it would be a different story, but the fact is the fans at Busch are better fans, and much more fun to watch games with, than the casual fans here.

That's what I'm thinking too.

If this war happens, it won't be like Iraq. We won't invade, rather it will be more like us taking off our belt and giving them a good whipping. We'll degrade their military to where they no longer have the capacity to maintain proxy wars throughout the middle east.

Speaking of Cron, I'm in Minnesota on a business trip and saw the Twinkies play yesterday. They have a beautiful little stadium and I wish the Angels had one like it.

What is really a shame is that this truly outstanding player will always best be remembered for a defensive miscue.
One of my favorite all-time players.
