    Vlad27Trout27 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in AngelsWin Today: Angels pitcher Caden Dana blazing a fast track towards Major League debut
    I am really excited to see how Dana does next year. if everything clicks he could finish the year at AA, and have shot at the MLB the following year. He has a high spin fastball that rates as plus, mixed in with a curve that could also be plus. He still needs to refine his command/control and a 3rd pitch to reach his ceiling as a #2. I think his change has a chance to be another plus pitch to give him 3 really good pitch.
    Honestly I have a more of a Corbin Burnes comp for him.

    I going to say that Rada and Dana will both be in the top 50 by mid-season. I also think that Dana will be our top prospect, followed by Rada and then Kent.
    By Mid-season;
           Dana will show that he has the upside of a #2
           With Grades: Fastball (60), Curve: (60), Change (55), Slider 50, Command (50) Overall: 55
           Comp: Corbin Burnes
          Ceiling: #2
    Rada:
       Will be a table setting and an ideal lead-off hitter with 30+ SB.
       Grades: Hit (60), power (40), Run (65), Def (55) Overall 55
        Comp: Jacoby Ellsbury
    Kent
       I'm going to sneak Kent in as well. Reports have been that he worked on strength and conditiong, mostly in the lower half this offseason. He has       4 average to above-average pitches that could improved. Can't wait to see how he does.
      Grades Fastball (55), Slider (55), Change (50), Curve (45), Command (50), Overall 50

    Surprises:
    Mederos;
       His brief cup of coffee reminded me a lot of how G-Rich's went. I bring up G-rich as Mederos stuff and commands reminds me a lot of Richards.     I  think they'll be more refinement of command and stuff  and a surprise waiting to happen.
    Kochanowicz,
       I really cannot wait to see how he does next season. he has the potential to be a middle of the rotation arm or a power pitcher. We will see him in     2024. Next step for him will be refinement of his command and stuff, plus setting and finishing hitter with stuff outside of the zone
    Disappointment
     Bachman, I just don't think he'll stay healthy enough in either roles
    Paris, I think the high strike-out rates will not do any benefits for hi,,

    I have Low-expectations for Rendon going into the season. But I would not mind seeing trying him out at leadoff to hopefully get the most with his lack/concern of power and having him hit in front of Trout could help. He still gets on base and does not strike out a lot.

    I wonder if the angels already made offers and are now just in a waiting limbo? The reports are that they're in a holding pattern, yet they have also been linked to guys like Snell, Stroman..Etc

    I've been trying to come up with a handful of moves that could help us this season and the upcoming free agency. After going back and forth between the moves, I've finally come up with some that could help.
    Top of my List;
      1. Snell, I think he is the best arm available with the ability to be a solid 2! Which this team needs. I think a similar contract to what Rodon got is what Snell will get, 162 mil over 6 years, which I think is a good price for him and gives us that top of the rotation arm we need. If I'm Arte/Perry I would try to back load the contract once's Rendon contract is off the books.
         - 20,25,30,30,27.
    2. There have been a lot of rumors that the Padres may be trying to cut salary by trading one of Cronenworth or Kim, and looking at the rumors, the Pads might prefer to somehow trade Cronenworth in hopes of extending Kim. I would love to grab Cronenworth and see if the Padres would be willing to add a prospect or two to sweeten the return. The downside is that we would be adding 80 million in salary. But before last year, Cronenworth had been a four-war player, and if he returns to this form, that contract could be a bargain and a benefit.
        One such trade that could be in work is;
            - Padres get; Drury
            - Angels get; Cronenworth, Mazur, Lizarraga and 10 mil
    3. Next I would look at adding a short term option to include into the rotation and people might not like it, but I would add Clevenger 20 mil over 2 years, with a club option for the next year.
    4. With about 37 mil spent, I would now turn my attention on addressing the BP.
         - Bring back Moore of a 2 years 12 mil contract with a second year option
         - Try to sign David robertson 10 mil over 1 year
        - Try to sign Hicks over 48 mil over 4 years

    Cronenworth is an interesting option to consider and that contract is quite friendly for what he's able to do. The question is, if the Pads are really trying to cut salary and and if we'll willing to eat the contract, what would the return be? how many prospects would they include?
    Would the Pads do a
    Cronenworth + Thrope + 10 mil for Drury?

    Pretty solid top 10 list and I agreed with a lot of the write ups for the top 10.
    Basic rundown;
      1. For both Nolan and Rada's power will determine is they take that next step or not! For Nolan, could potentially be 20 power guy, but currently viewed as a 10-15 hr. Rada  is viewed as the typical lead of hitter.
    2. Dana, Big fastball and a plus slider, 4 pitch mix with a fastball in the mid 90s. His fading-change could potentially develop into his best out pitch. Four pitch pitcher, with the ability to develop 3 above-average or better pitches. Personally I think your'll looking at #2/3.
    3. Kent same as Dana, has four solid pitches that could potentially be above0average. Just need to stay healthy and develop. Currently I think a #3 upside is a good start for him just needs to stay healthy and develop.
    4. Koch, FB with really good sink made a arm angle changed last season and velo increased. , He has the chances  to be a groundball machine that could potentially be #3, if command and his secondary stuff improve. Currently viewed as back-of- the rotation type of arm. Throws a lot of strike, and at times to many. Overall needs improve the in strike-zone command
    5. Bachman and Medrosis-> Potentially Bp arm but will have a shot at starting.

    I didn't have any issues with Othani signing with the Dodgers. But this is an dick move. Imagine if he had offered to something similar could have changed the outlook of the season.

    Well than it's not going to be a pretty off-season.
    Personally I have:
    Snell 150mil over 6 years= 25 mil
    Stroman 72 mil over 4 years= 18 mil
    Moore= 8 Mil
    Lopez: 33mil over 3 years
