You're literally taking out an entire season because it doesn't fit your argument. That's the definition of cherry picking. Plus, you're using a year in which he had fewer than 200 at bats as the start of a trend and I mean come on now.
He's had 4 full seasons and all have been average-at-worst. He's not a star by any means, but he's a valuable player. IMO this is a classic case of NotTroutitis. 

Trade Calhoun and a prospect for a starting pitcher.
Trade whatever for Stanton and Gordon.
Collect the Off-season Championship trophy.

I’m in agreement with you here for the most part, there will be some minor moves to convert over the offseason cause Eppler’s gonna Eppler. But I think the core of the bullpen is already there.

That is just goofy. Obviously it's a low percentage chance but to have Minnesota and Seattle on there and not the Angels is bizarre to say the least.

It's already been confirmed he is returning for the 2018 season, so there isn't much of a reason for it to be discussed at this point. I personally thought Scioscia had his best year in 2017 that he has had in a long while as well.
