It would be good to see the mental makeup of some of our relievers in 9th inning game on the line situations. Whether it benefits us this year or the next few, it couldn't hurt to try. Maybe Bedrosian sticks and we save 10 mil a season on a closer in the short term while using that money in addressing our many other needs.

If/when Street and Smith get traded, who are our options besides Bedrosian? I think Cam could be good but I also think Scioscia would end up giving the ball to Salas or go with a save by committee.

If he gets healthy and if the qualifying offer (QO) system remains the same, after the next collective bargaining agreement, do we give CJ Wilson a QO? I don't recall the Angels extending QOs to anyone in the past.

Simmons is still adjusting to the pitching in a different league, compacted with spending half the season on the DL with a torn ligament in his thumb. I think his offense will be better next season once he gets more aclimated to AL pitchers this year. How much better is the question though.

I'd like to see more events at the All Star game outside of the Home Run Derby. You see other sports like basketball and hockey with skill contests. A pitcher home run derby would be fun. Maybe some event where outfielders show off their arms and hit certain spots all around the infield diamond. Pitchers hitting spots around the strike zone sorta like how hockey players shoot a puck to break targets around the goal. Have a fastest home to 3rd or 1st to 3rd baserunning competition. Maybe a hitting skills competition where each player has to hit a ball exactly where it is called out, like 5-6 hole or right center field gap. It would be more interesting than just a home run derby.

If Vlad gets into the HOF does he get his number retired? If Trout gets into the HOF do we hang two 27's up? I always thought it was weird that when Vlad left someone else got his number pretty quickly yet nobody wears #15 anymore
