  1. Upton is a piece of crap. 3 years/75 million left after this one...lol
  2. He’s not good enough for that pay check
  3. When he stops being the best in the world, he’ll get one this thread isn’t because of the pop out, he’s been disappointing in general
  4. We say this every year. The reality is, they aren’t that good. Haven’t been 6 games above .500 all year. Next year better be different
  5. The frustrating thing is that he isn’t nearly as bad as Wells. But he should be better than he is
  6. And Bridwell had no chance to rebound from it. Barria does. So sure
  7. He’s not horrible but he’s ain’t worth that contract. Not even close
  8. That seems like a very optimistic outlook of things. That’s all I’m saying. including Ward, Thais, Suarez, and Walsh in “talents they’ve graduated” is reaching
  9. Trevor Bauer was bad until he wasn’t
  10. Lmao bridwell is a terrible journeyman. Barria can carve out a solid career as a #4/5 starter at least
  11. Prospect pool is pretty meh. I’m hoping some of the young guys take a step next year
  12. Meh, I went to bed at 9 PM sometimes having to leave for work at 5 AM is a good thing
  13. It’s actually better now than it was at the start of the season. Getting Harvey and Cahill our of there automatically improves things a ton
  14. He ain’t great, but Barria is still a big upgrade over Cahill and Harvey
  15. Guy has been a great Angel and is a great person/teammate by all accounts, but you have to do what makes the organization better off I say. Tough one though
  16. The A's won in 11 against Houston. Damn, they're good. Again.
  17. Compared to last year, it's a really good year for Kole. He will be getting another contract out of it. Good for him. No interest in him returning, though
  18. A catcher for sure. Smith has been a good soldier as a backup, but Lucroy was a mess of an acquisition.
  19. I don't disagree, I'm just saying he is another guy who is a 5th/6th option in a rotation probably..4 if everything clicks. Not a huge difference maker, but still can contribute
  20. It's possible. But relying on him to be more than a 5th/6th starter has been a problem for this team. Definitely not the main problem. He's barely pitched 3 out of the last 4 years
  21. He's not that talented. I actually see him as very similar to a Ricky Nolasco Is he better than the other crap they've rolled out there though this year? of course
  22. It's time to move on from Heaney. I feel bad because he's a super cool guy, but he just can't be counted on. The Angels need a minimum of 3 quality starters this offseason. and 4 would be preferable
  23. I don't think he's that good, but you're a fool if you'd rather roll Cahill or another scrub out there over him. He needs to take his lumps and learn from it.
