I wonder how much will be about how the Angels aren't doing enough to compete while we have Trout.

Or..it will be about what the Phillies can do to clear payroll so they can sign him after 2020..

that's great. what's his name?  of my nephews went through the same thing (8 weeks early) and has been just fine. I remember the visits to see him in the hospital and the joy my brother and SIL had when they got to take him home.(he was their first child, too)  he's 11 now, a straight A student, bilingual (SIL is a honky) and can beat anyone here in golf. (funcle brag)

so here's a list I previously posted :us

you might want to check them out on IMDb to see which ones peak your interest. the first few are my favorites.  are you guys only interested in English language or do you watch other euro shows? i.e. are you averse to subtitles?

No Peeky Blinders?   Whada fook, mate?

Speaking of PB is there going to be more of that show?

He's 1 month today. Came 8 weeks early; just brought him home on Monday from the NICU. He's doing excellent...love crime thrillers and dramas, suspense films, and stand up comedy. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I've really enjoyed Animal Kingdom (american version). About a really dysfunctional criminal family in No San Diego County.  think you can stream it from the TNT website and it's probably on Netflix or Amazon by now. There's a new season "coming soon"

  4. They had some problems with the game. I got a notice that Rickie had withdrawn, so I replaced him with Rahm...but tonight I see Rickie playing. So it is what it is. Of course this is the week Tank is out. It's fucked up.

We will just all suffer with it I guess...nothing I can do.

You'd be surprised how many people love the frigid cold of Chicago.

Nobody with a choice spends winters in Chicago. I love Chicago as much as anyone, it's an awesome city. But comparing the two cities and especially the ballparks...there's no way I would choose the Cellblock and the South side over SD.

It's funny all the old men on this board who think Machado isn't a good player.

Is he worth that contract, maybe, maybe not.

But not going to put up an over .800 OPS? Lol

Not all. I'm one of the board's old men an I think he's better than just good. I also think he has some personality /immaturity issues. Do I think he can overcome those to be one of the greats? I think he can and I also think he will. He's suddenly in a leadership role there and he's a star..and my guess is that he will step up.

If he does what I think he will, he will be worth every penny to an  organization that needs some star power and a clubhouse leader. The fans there sure deserve it.
