My thinking is more in line with WTF? They battled a good AAA team for a few innings. Harvey made it through 6 innings against a ST split squad. They almost threw a guy out at home plate.
I turned the game off after the 9th, not really caring who won.
I haven't been around much lately, so I don't know if I'm the first to declare.. season over.

Nat Geo: "Free Solo"
Documentary of Alex Honnold's ascent of El Capitan's 3200 foot vertical rock (without no rope or a buddy). Just himself and some chalk.
Highly recommend. Intense shots of his climb as well as training, plus the scenery is outstanding.
That guy is a wimp. Back when I did it we didn't have chalk...or shoes.

hope you’re doing okay, dude.
Was really a landing at the bottom of some basement stairs (Yes they have basements in this part of the world)...I was searching for the light switch and didnt realize there was a step down and I missed it completely came down on the side of my foot and snapped my knee. Back for an MRI today. I live on an island now so any surgery means staying on the mainland for a while.
WHO IS GOING TO BREAK OUT OF THE PACK AT AUGUSTA ???

I remember Scott well. He was always known as one of the really, really, GOOD GUYS in the game. Anyone that knew him will back that up.
Very sad..he will be missed by all who knew or knew of him.

I have been moving...fell down some stairs in the dark in a strange house and tore up my knee, spent the night in the hospital and will probably require surgery...yet I managed to get my lineup set. Why people commit to play this game and cant remember to set a lineup because they have a hangnail and the wind is out of the east just baffles me.

Nice job by Michigan tonight. (no participation trophy)
U-M's fewest points in NCAA tournament game ... ever
Michigan's 44 points were its fewest in NCAA tournament history. The previous record was 45 points, scored in 1948 against Holy Cross (before the 3-point line existed).
Fewest points by 2-seed in NCAA history
The headline sums it up. Michigan had struggled on offense at times this season, but still was tied for 238th nationally at 70.5 points per game. In addition to being the fewest points by a 2-seed in NCAA history, according to the CBS broadcast, Thursday's output was the Wolverines' fewest points in any game since a 45-42 loss to Eastern Michigan on Dec. 9, 2014.
1-fer from 3-point range
Walk-on C.J. Baird, a former team manager, prevented U-M from going 0-fer from 3-point range by hitting one in the final minute. The Wolverines finished 1-for-19 from deep and shot 32.7 percent overall.

When did Safeco become T-Mobile Park? The color pink goes well with the Mariners.
They were hanging the new sign when I went past it a few weeks ago. I can't make it to this series because I'm in the process of moving to San Juan Island (Friday Harbor) in fact I'll be passing the stadium as the game is going on....with our animals and towing a boat.

I like seeing teams NOT playing the games for a change.
was pretty cool how Paddack found out. Manager told him he made the roster as he pulled him from a game. There’s video out there, whole infield was called in. Pretty sweet
Watched some interviews with this guy...seems like a great kid. Hope he and the Pads do really well this season.

Not even 1 of my players made the freaking cut. That's the first time that has ever happened.

The 1 seed UVa is barely ahead of 16 seed Gardner-Webb (39-38) with under 16 min to play, after trailing by 6 at halftime.
What is it about UVa and struggling vs 16 seeds?
I think that if Virginia can get through this round they have a chance of going deep.

So far.
My only hit was Northeastern..I thought they were much better than not even showing up.

And even though I put my bracket in the wrong group, I nailed picking the 13 seed UCI over the 4 seed K-State, 70-64 final in favor of UCI.
Second Big West Conference round of 64 NCAAT game win in the past 14 years, joining the 12 seed Hawaii over the 5 seed Cal in 2016
I had UCI and now need (12)Oregon over (5)Wisconsin to really get back into this thing.

Quite a performance by Murray State. They are one of my two losses on opening day - hardly any upsets.
HA! I picked Murray State..but I got almost everything else wrong. I was looking for a big upset day.

fixed.
Calhoun and Cozart have got to go. Today is not soon enough. Hard to watch a team starting players like that.
