    I didn't know both Kinsler and Pedroia went to ASU crazy. And Gammons has always been a fan of the Angels at least he has always seemed that way on the radio or TV.

    True or it could have been that the talent is finally starting to show. I mean we have had guys get to the big leagues quickly. Our minors have been kind of ehh for a while. But you are probably right it is more than likely a combo of the two. Also maybe it's a little of how MLB is changing trying to get your talent to the bigs faster.

    You forgot to add that in that 24-4 run we go on we only gain 1 game in the AL West.

    He doesn't need to be a lefty. He is currently better by miles than our first baseman right now and that should be all that matters.

    I get it just doesn't make sense. Play the best person at the position and the one who gives you the best chance to win regardless of pay. That is what sports is all about. Although it seems the Angels organization has turned into a place of retirement community instead of trying to win the most games. We have a far greater payroll than anyone else in this division yet we are in 4th place and the way things are playing out we might be in last before this season is over.

    Who's numbers are better Pujols or Cron? Who's cheaper? Who has more speed? Who's more athletic? Oh wait Cron has posted an 808 OPS which is greater than Pujols and the great and mysterious Upton at a fraction of the cost. Shocked I tell you shocked indeed.

    Depends what they are replacing him with? Are they replacing him with JD Martinez who they could have had this off season instead of then yes they would be better if they are replacing him with some random scrub then no.

    Ya mostly couldn't figure out why my computer here wouldn't log into my main account. So my office computer has this account and my phone and laptop have KevinB. Also no idea who Mueller time is? I've never seen them post.

    If the Angels don't at least take 3 out of 4 from the White Sox I will be thoroughly disappointed

    I'd say a 5-10% chance to make the playoffs is realistic. I would sell off any asset that isn't in the plans next year or the year after that. Get what you can for the likes of Kinsler Maldonaldo Valbuena and bullpen pieces teams would try to trade for. I wouldn't trade Skaggs unless it was a total landslide offer.
