  1. I would say so. Trending upward: Lindholm, Andersen, Gibson, Fowler, Vatanen, Silfverberg, Rakell, Despres, Wagner, Hagelin. Trending the same they were last year: Perry, Getzlaf, Kesler, Thompson, Maroon, Cogliano, Bieksa(Not having Sbisa as a linemate is going to make him better). Trending downward: Horcoff, Stoner, Jackman, McGrattan. Wildcards: Stewart. Prospects rising up: Theodore, Ritchie, Gibson. Prospect wildcards: Noesen. Could do great or be average. Candidates to have a "big breakout season": Silfverberg & Lindholm. According to stats the Ducks are the 11th youngest team at avg age of 27.9 The NJ Devils are the oldest at 30.0 (They still dont think they need to rebuild lol).
  2. This sounds like something out of OrphanBlack with the Neolutionists using human parts to make Frankenstein or something.
  3. I want the next announcement to be that Hampus Lindholm signed a 8 year contract.
  4. Nikki Haley & Caitlyn Jenner as her running mate. I'd vote for them.
  5. Yep the GOP will screw it up by nominating another boring white guy. Their chance to to win is if Nikki Haley - governor of South Carolina decides to run.
  6. It seems if there were more teams the big stars would stand out more, all the top hitters & pitchers would benefit from having weaker competition to play against. Todays average players would improve, the below average would now look like average players. MLB wants to see Trout & Harper go in the Hall of Fame someday, this increases their odds if they add more teams instead of relocating a few.
  7. Yeah that would be good too. Like someone else suggested: New Orleans, Charlotte(NC), Puerto Rico.
  8. but then Trout might be able to have a 60 HR season hitting HRs off pitchers that belong in Single A.
  9. Canadian citys: Vancouver. Montreal. Ottawa. Edmonton. Calgary. American citys: Portland, OR. Las Vegas, NV. Memphis, TN. San Antonio, TX. More teams = easier pitchers for Trout to hit HRs off of.
  10. NHL 16 on Playstation will be fun with Hagelin & Cogliano on the roster during PKs. Scoring Shorthanded goals in the game is gonna be fun with the Ducks. As far as the game goes I'll likely use Kesler/Hagelin on PK unit 1, then Rakell/Cogliano on PK unit 2. I usually keep Getzlaf off the PK units in the game cause of his lack of speed. First trade in GM mode will be McGrattan for a bag of pucks.
  11. Against skilled teams Stewart makes sense to have on the top line over Maroon. Lines 2 & 3 look like they will have alot of speed if they go with: Hagelin/Kesler/Silfverberg Cogliano/Rakell/Sekac Ritchie/Horcoff/Maroon/Wagner/Friberg With Thompson back do they move Horcoff to the wing if he's putting up decent points ?
  12. Sounds like the ones who vote on the award are the same ones who vote on the Norris trophy in the NHL......all offense no taking defense into the equation.
  13. When Miggy & Fielder are on base they are liability with slow moving legs. Vladdy could probally out run them still.
  14. Since Buffalo Sabres aren't going anywhere this year, he probally figured he could do whatever he wants. Colorado is better off without him because he's a Cancer like Bobby Ryan, even before this Ryan O'Reilly had issues with Colorado when they tried re-signing him a few years ago & there were talks of trading him like there was with Bobby Ryan.
  15. Sanders really should run as a independent for president. He can be like the leftwing version of Ross Perot.
  16. I wouldn't consider Skaggs guarenteed to be great, some said Amarista & Segura were locks to hit .300+ in the majors....
  17. Same thing they say in NHL when players knock out Sidney Crosby with a concussion.....who happens to be the best player in the game. Other teams want to pitch in a way thats its most likely for a accidental HBP to happen. Same thing in the NHL when teams remember to Check a certain player harder.
  18. This. Bob Murray, Chicago's Stan Bowman & LA's Dean Lombardi are the best GMs in the league. The East has too many GM's who just throw money at UFAs & end up buying them out within a few years or stuck with the contract.
  19. I'm glad the Ducks are not run like the Angels. Arte would have them sign the Top UFA every offseason & then watch the team run out of cap space to keep Lindholm, Fowler etc.
