    They have finish with the worst or 2nd worst to realisticly get a 1st round draft pick as finishing 3rd last they could end up moving down in the lottery. Wish the top prospect in next years draft is last named Luck so they can start a Suck for Luck campaign.

    That certainly upgrades the offense ! Yay ! The best trade he could make is trading Scioscia for a kick in the nuts. Other team gets Scioscia & they get to kick our GM in the nuts....twice !

    All thats left is Brad Boyes, Joel Ward, Eric Fehr, etc. Each of them would out produce Beleskey though in terms of points. So the plan would be offer each of them 5 million for 1 year for each of them ? Then after their gone they still got the cap space to sign the 7 RFAs.

    The only new Canadian expansion team that could be in the western conference is if one were located in the city of Regina in the state Saskatchewan. Toronto doesn't need another team, they should consider Halifax, Nova Scotia or St. Johns, Newfoundland. Giving Toronto another team would be like giving LA another NBA team.

    Imagine if Scioscia is ever fired, imagine how many players will suddenly openly say not nice things about Scioscia. I imagine Napolir or Lackey will tweet something like "About effin time !"

    Yes ! also so glad they Drafted Russell over a Center. "Big" Centers are more likely to be busts than any other position in the draft lottery: Oden, Kwame Brown, Hasheem Thabeet etc.

    Yep. When the Ducks lost game 7 to the Kings they got 'Tougher' by bringing in Thompson, Stoner, Kesler etc which brought the team back to having one of the highest penalty minutes per game. Then after losing to Chicago he's back to trying to make the Ducks a speed team & I bet the Ducks see a drop in penalty minutes next season. I expect the penalty minutes to go down for a number of reasons: More playing time for guys like Sekac, Fleischmann, Hagelin.

    I think they should consider going top heavy in the first D-pairing like Chicago does. Lindholm/Fowler - Lindholms smart play could allow Fowler to be more agressive in the offensive zone. Vatanen/Despres Stoner/Bieska/Theodore. If Theodore is given some games, pair him with Bieska on the 3rd pairing & bench Stoner.

    As usually I bet all the usual suspects will sign all the big name Free Agents: Minnesota, NYR, NYD, PIT, PHI, TOR. Then they will end up buying them out within 1 to 2 seasons.

    Scioscia's first moves as GM would be to bring back Willits, Mathis, Quinlan, Hillenbrand, Izturis, Figgins, Bourjos, GMJr (scioscia's allstars !)

    TIME for CHANGE ! Fire Scioscia. Dipoto can go to. Scioscia is still clinging onto the past when Runnyball worked & Glaus was on steroids. Time to finallllllly turn the page & fire him. A Breath of fresh air is needed at the manager position.
