As I was watching Monday Night baseball, and the Goatee was was pitching, I was thinking Shoe has at least as good stuff as Garza. And better numbers. Who knows if it will last, but I'd think by now opponents have decent scouting reports and Shoemaker continues to get the job done.
What would Garza have cost if he wasn't on vacation? $15M/year?
