  1. It's not one game. They lost the season series to this team, hence why this thread was made...
  2. So it isn't a concern that a HORRIBLE team is executing better than us?
  3. What? He's right...don't know why you have to post with such a holier than thou attitude
  4. What part of my post is funny? Trout has had back to back 10 WAR seasons and is only 22. I guarantee you a team would pay him 35+
  5. Profar is still going to be a very good player. He has all the tools to be an elite SS for a long time. Just because he's having a rough year at the age of 20, doesn't mean he's going to have a bad career.
  6. I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but Calhoun needs to be at the top of the lineup.
  7. Girardi has a very bad roster this year, and his team is right there in playoff contention yet again. I don't watch the Yankees that often, but going off the results this year, Girardi>Sosh.
  8. The issue is parenting here. You have to make it clear to your kid that nothing can be this bad. There is no amount of bullying that can make you commit suicide. A lot of Kids don't have thick enough skin to be posting on the internet.
  9. If Scioscia puts Calhoun at the top of the order and replaces Cowgill with Shuck, and bats Shuck 7th, I doubt people would be complaining.
  10. Calhoun>>Shuck>>>>>>>>>>Cowgill This isn't rocket science.
  11. I disagree. A-Rod is still a well above average all around 3rd baseman in this league.
  12. lol Calhoun hitting 7th and Cowgill hitting 1st. You can't make this stuff up. A big **** you to Mike Scioscia.
  13. He doesn't really do anything below average. Can hit the ball hard to all fields, average to above average power, good plate discipline, good contact ability, average to above average speed, in the long run I think his defense will be above average. Just a very good all around ball player. Deserves a spot on this team next year, no doubt about it.
  14. Winnik at center is a possibility according to Eric Stephens...interesting. That must mean the organization doesn't have much faith in Holland.
  15. Bourjos sure does seem to get "unlucky" a lot. Maybe he's just not that good of a ball player eh?
  16. Andrus is most definitely not garbage. He's had a bad year with the bat, and has still been a 3.4 WAR player so far this year according to B-Ref. He's a very good ballplayer who is still young and is in line to improve. He'll most likely be a 4-5 WAR player in his prime, and one of the best all around SS in the game.
  17. A-Rod is actually hitting quite well. Yankees fans have shut up about the whole thing and stopped booing. He's been a large part of their playoff push. I wish Pujols could hit .301/.388/.496/.883 like A-Rod is currently
  18. This. The people calling Bourjos untouchable are pretty crazy IMO. His play has not been close to untouchable since 2011, and that was his one good season. The other years he's either struggled at the dish or been injured. If they can get a Major League ready arm for Bourjos that has the upside to be a #2 or #3 starter, then I would hope Dipoto would consider it.
  19. Shuck and Aybar batting 1-2 is just brutal. Personally, I would move Aybar down, and hit Calhoun 2nd.
  20. Trumbo hasn't played bad. He's had a Trumbo season. This is who he is. He's a decent starter. His BABIP suggests that he's gotten a little unlucky this year too. He's a .255/.310/.490 guy at best I think. That's not bad, but it's not great for a mostly bat player.
  21. I'm surprised by this. You're a stat guy, right? Scioscia is the guy with Cowgill, Shuck, and Aybar getting the bulk of the at bats at leadoff. We want these guys to get more at bats than Trout and Calhoun? The sacrifice bunting and reckless baserunning has reached ridiculous levels. I don't think he's a good manager anymore. Maybe middle of the pack at best.
  22. Arte Moreno is our owner, that's why
  23. Lifetime's two posts in this thread. Good to see he's making an effort to contribute and not just troll with one liners....
  24. He's having a better season than Calhoun had as a 22 year old in High-A. This kid can play.
