    Yes, I would consider trading Adell for a front line, controllable starter. If we don't, I pray that we have to deal with Boras being a headache -- means that we got 6 pretty good years of Adell.

    You all are assuming that Rendon won't get $275-300M. Or that the Angels will get him. Arenado's availability 1) gives us another option and 2) gives us a bargaining chip in negotiating Rendon's contract.

    I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd be perfectly happy if we signed Rendon. He's a stud and gives us another big bat. I think we'd still have some capital -- through trades or FA -- to add to the staff.

    I can’t even imagine this thread had Trout not signed his extension already. Personally, I think this organization needs to clean house. The only thing more disturbing than what happened is that nobody “knew.”

    If the drugs were supplied by an Angel employee, not only is the organization potentially liable but I would wager that Skaggs isn't the only one on this type of drug cocktail. That is what is truly terrifying.

    Incurably negative? I appreciate your optimism but how does losing Ohtani on the mound and signing a bunch of alsorans on 1 year deals take this team from 80 to 90 wins? I love this team as much as anyone but if this offseason has demonstrated nothing else, it’s that this is a transition year. I don’t think that is negative, I think it is realistic. Ill enjoy watching Angel baseball but if we are sniffing a wild card in late August, a lot went right.
