    Way back on page 15 was my reference to blaming our pen. Sorry, it’s not you, it’s me. I’m extra salty about this loss. One would think that if a team made a mockery of the sport it wouldn’t continue to get the benefit of the doubt on calls but that’s apparently not the case.

    I'm trying to like this deal but I'm just not seeing it. Cobb is projected to throw 132 innings this year; his career highs are 29 games and 179 innings. Trading a prospect, albeit from an area of depth, and taking on cash for an average, injury prone pitcher doesn't seem to really fill a need for us. I would tend to think that this is a precursor to another move but have seen this movie far too often over the last few years.
