Call me a hater, but there's a part of me that is enjoying seeing their refusal to add IF help or sign an OFer come back to bite them in the ass.  I wasn't in the "sign the big guys" camp, but I wanted them to make sensible offers to people who weren't absolute trash. There was nothing, absolutely nothing that would have kept them from playing the young guys AND making an attempt at safeguarding themselves by signing capable players. 
People can say that it takes two to tango and the sort, but there's enough info out there to know who the Angels did and didn't make offers on.  
 

Funny you should say that, the last time they got him on video we got to see what he said .vs how Sam Blum reported it.  Also, did you read what he said after his most recent injury?

I will never give up on the Angels but I do have a hard time supporting it financially with Arte as the owner. Of course that is saying very little since I live in Northern California and use my friend's MLB.tv account. Pretty much, I just don't have the desire to take my annual SoCal trip to watch the team play or buy Angels merchandise. That will show Arte... absolutely nothing... but at least it makes me feel... in no way better.

What I’ve learned is it’s always the organizations fault and never the player.  Except Rendon. 

We all know the organization is broken.  Most of us want Arte to sell. 
Personally, I don't need a bunch of reminders about how much the team sucks.  I see it.  We all see it.  I just don't obsess about it.  I don't even whine (much) about it. 
It's all out of our control and despite what people like mmc want, I am still going to watch because I like baseball. I'm just not consumed by it.  It's an option of things to do each day.  That's all.  It's a pastime. 
There are just bigger things to worry about or get angry about. 
I'm not happy that the team sucks, but again since it's out of my control - I don't think about it too much. And the last thing I want to do is sit around and complain about it with a bunch of other people. 
I get it.  Some people are outraged. They have a right to be.  That's just not me.  It's all about perspective.

I'm sure for many players it's like getting out of an abusive household.

Translation: "The Angels are a shitty organization, and I didn't realize it until I went to a good one."

I kinda hope we lose some fans.  At the end of the day this is what a rebuild looks and feels like.  

I think Adell gets more criticism than others because of how terribly disappointing he was for years, after being the highly touted first pick.

When he makes a bad play, it's so bad that it really stands out.  Overall though, he's good enough to be out there.  He's never going to be great because he's really not all that coordinated as odd as that sounds.  Reminds me of Upton in a way where he'd just fly to a ball getting to places that others couldn't but when it came time to move his hands and arms in a way to catch the ball it looked like he just got them.  
The awkwardness is never going to fully go away.  But he's fine and this team should have it's focus on improving in way more spots.  He needs to play every.single.day for the rest of the year.

Wash should have used someone else. But Suarez was expected to simply not give up 4 runs.
That said, if the score is still 2-0, the Angels don't score 5 runs, at least not in the manner they did. Being up 6 runs, Baltimore is going to have an entirely different approach than if they're only up 2 runs. Trout probably gets pitched differently. Ward the same. 
I'm not excusing the decision to bring in Suarez. I'm just saying it's easy to say the exact scenario would have played out on offense when there's no way you could possibly know that.

I 100% agree with this and it still bums me out that we didn't trade him ahead of last season or at the very least the trade deadline. 
Heard that the Dodgers were offering Michael Busch and Pepiot at the deadline. Huge swing and miss by Perry and Arte. 

The situation is that they could have moved Ohtani each of the last two deadlines and did not, and instead made illegitimate moves last year in a vain attempt at making the playoffs, and have done nothing since to communicate any type of plan for the future. Trading some bullpen scrubs for low level prospects this year does little. 
They need to get with Trout and find out what teams he'd go to, move him, Ward and Anderson this year if those guys are healthy and productive.
I hope they do. That would be awesome. There's no reason to think it will.

Which is you misunderstanding the situation. They only spent on the pen in the offseason, and all but one of those arms is “flipable” at the deadline.  They didn’t spend big with a goal to compete. They signed guys that could be moved or released.
