This is the needle Christie has to thread. To make it out of the primary he has to cater to the extremists on the right, and in doing so he'll turn off folks in the middle. I haven't followed him all that closely, but from what I can tell I doubt he can pull it off in the primary, at some point he's going to just blow up and call a wingnut a wingnut, or refuse to toe the line on the latest outrage. Dealing with conservatives in NJ is nothing like he's going to face in a midwest or southern primary.

Make sure your MD had your blood checked cor Lyme Disease. A good portion of my clients have BP as one of their Lyme symptoms. You do not want Lyme to go untreated or else you are in for a long road to recovery.
Sorry to sound so negative, but we see this all the time as the reason people discover they have Lyme.

I grant you that he could have been more diplomatic in what he said, but from the sound of it he was blindsided by the report of the tweet and just lost it.
I believe that NJHalo is dead on. Loose talk like this can compromise the Yankees' situation with contract insurance, and they don't want a washed up overpaid player to ruin everything by going public on his own.
In years past your worst fear was a player confiding too much in a reporter. Today's technology has made all of us de facto authors and broadcasters, and damage can be done a lot more quickly and easily.

Agree. Sucks for him that this injury hits him on his walk year. Helps us by keeping the price and demand down a little.

Cashman hates A-Rod.  Never really wanted to sign him and certainly not to a larger contract when he opted out.  Steinbrenner made it happen. Yankees dont really want A-Rod back but cant come out and publicly state that.  I believe they are hoping A-Rod gets caught in the mess in Miami and somehow, someway his contract can be voided A-Rod will not be with the Yankees at the end date of his Yankee contract.  He also wont break the all-time HR record.

My thought too.....this has been discussed but not sure we should consider trading him, even if he gets healthy in a hurry....we don't have any starting pitching depth in the organization and the FA market is weak...if he's reasonable, I would sign him....

I don't see the point in arresting people in a mutual husband/wife altercation that doesn't result in injury. Just give them both restraining orders and arrest either if they violate it.
