if fact, the winner of this game should be dumped into the loser's bracket to play the Rangers and then the winner of that series plays the winner of WC for the Cup ---
that would mean a re-match of this series......
that's about where the EC stands in contrast to the WC.

if Chicago wins, Blackhawks in 4 over Rangers.

I'm a Devils fan, nothing boring about them winning. That sweep of Detroit in the '95 finals was amazing. Detroit came in on fire and was the class of the league that year and went out in 4 straight.
