  1. I think Chuck needs to bring back the sarcasm button....
  2. There could never be another captain like Jeter, so why bother trying. Give everyone an "A" and call it a day.
  3. So happy the Rangers stayed away from Karlsson. Not much tread left on those tires. Loving the Jacob Trouba trade. NYR gives Winnipeg back the #20 pick that they had given them for 25 games of FA Kevin Hayes, plus extra-extra defenseman Neil Pionk. One of the best trades they have made in a long time.
  4. Carrying all that extra weight is finally catching up to fatso.
  5. Murder Mystery on Netflix. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston star in this piece of trash. Perhaps the worst movie I have seen years. Do not waste your time.
  6. Very surprised no mention of Breakin II: Electric Bugaloo. That one is a personal favorite of Mr Wicked
  7. Great read. Thanks for sharing. I have to wonder how I would have handled myself...?
  8. That opening scene from Saving Private Ryan is scarier than any horror movie.
  9. Healing powers: Simmons' ankle > Upton's toe > Harvey's back
  10. I remember a few years ago when there was a trade rumor of Mets sending Harvey to the Red Sox for two prospects named Betts and Bogarts.
  11. It’s the darkest of nights for the Dark Knight
  12. John Heyman is reporting that Ortiz had a handshake deal not to get shot while in the DR
  13. The heart and soul of this team (and this fan forum) is born and raised in New Jersey.
  14. Mike Butcher put a curse on this team as he was clearing out his office
  15. No, if he was taking the picture, it would have been from the front, and much closer.
  16. I saw it Monday night. Weak storyline, but the special effects were great. Big ? for having old man Lannister in the cast. Favorite parts:
  17. Sorry I missed this. I have heard it gets crowded on the weekends, but same day tickets during the week are easy to get. If you have time, in the same area is the Frying Pan. Cool bar on a lightship, with great views of the Hudson River. http://fryingpan.com/site/
  18. Tell me again how he just fell into our laps?
  19. If that’s the case, then you need to act soon. It just so happens that my buddy runs the scoreboard, and for $1000 he can put your proposal up on the jumbotron. PM me for his bank info for an immediate wire transfer. It’s usually twice the price with such little notice, but I told him you were with me.
  20. I haven’t been to the Oculus yet, so I can’t comment. Looks cool though. Along those lines, try out The Vessel at Hudson Yards, and the High Line. They are right next to each other. The Vessel just opened so I haven’t tried it yet. Just make sure you are in good shape because it’s a lot of stairs. https://www.hudsonyardsnewyork.com/discover/vessel
  21. Citi Field> Yankee Stadium IMHO. The subway drops you off right there, so if you can read a subway map, you can’t beat it. Food is good, and lots of good beer from smaller local breweries. The neighborhood around there stinks. Not dangerous or anything, just not much there. Lots of good advice given above. Where are you staying and what else do you have planned?
  22. Plus the added bonus of being my neighbor.....almost! https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/31/realestate/tony-sopranos-house-hits-the-market.html
