  1. Scot Shields is always the first one I think of when I hear underrated.
  2. Nuke it while it’s over Florida. Kill two birds with one stone.
  3. OK, what was the deal with the middle segment? Is that Cole and Alison's daughter, flash forward 20 years?
  4. I thought he had more RF time than that. Regardless, he is a strong enough fielder , and has a good enough arm to make the move. He is an upgrade from Goodwin, and could be had for a fraction of Calhoun's $14 million option.
  5. Another viable option for the outfield is Brett Gardner. With the emergence of Tauchman, and the depth in their farm system, the Yanks are unlikely to bring him back. Despite his diminishing playing time, he is on pace for career highs with his power numbers. He is still an above average fielder as well. Might be a good pick-up to keep Adell's seat warm for a year.
  6. There are statues of 6 US Presidents in London: Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Reagan.
  7. This seems to be the opinion I am getting the most. Looking online at VRBO, and AirbNb, the prices seem to reflect this as well.
  8. My friend Mike was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Devils for 21 years. He was one of Lou Lamoriello’s guys. He took pictures of both of his daughters in the Cup as newborns. Funny how they won it on years his daughters were born...?
  9. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Keep em coming
  10. Nope, and that’s not me in the picture.
  11. Walking thru the park today, I ran into the Stanley Cup! Every member of the St. Louis Blues gets time with it, and today was equipment manager Richie Matthews turn. Richie was a Verona NJ resident, and former long-standing equipment manager for the NJ Devils. A lot of Devils players and coaches live in my town, and Richie still has family here.
  12. I would offer him a contract for next season. He would probably be the only pitcher not to spend time on the IL
  13. Jarrod Washburn: Owns a private Deer farm for hunting and breeding, Major League Bucks. I spoke with him a few years ago to ask him to try out a tick/insect repellent that we were developing. He sampled it, but gave me zero feedback. https://majorleaguebucks.com/about.asp
  14. Lets start putting the band back together. Where is Salas?
  15. I would love to go in a quieter time, but the kids school schedule dictates when we can go..
  16. Have you ever done the Chunnel train?
  17. Need to see the obvious sites, but would like to enjoy a few "off the radar" places that aren't overrun by tourists. I want to be able to book a place in a safe area of the cities that I can walk to most places, and have easy access to the tubes.
  18. Looking for advice from anyone who has ever been there. Both cities seem very spread out, so I don't know which section to start looking in for hotels/Air BnB. Which of the touristy things are worth it? I hate lines. We are going to spend 4 days in each place. Flying to London, train to Paris, Fly home from Paris. Going with wife and 2 daughters.
  19. The biggest surprise for me was Matthew Rhys who played the lead character (Phillip Jennings) in the Americans. I had no idea he was from Wales, and had a heavy accent. I was watching an interview with him and Keri Russel, and was shocked when he started speaking. I thought he was joking.
