I'd be open to an Aybar return at 2nd base. Left handed streaky hitter who is loved in the clubhouse. If Simmons misses time ( please no ), then Aybar can shift over. Plus this allows time for one of those young guys at 2nd base to develop.

M's got better. Segura was a 5.7 WAR player last year. Put his bat up in a lineup with Seager, Cano, & Cruz. That's pretty good.
Walker may realize his promise but if he couldn't in a pitcher's park in Seattle... Not sure he will in Az

Also, as a former catcher, I like how Contreras exaggerates getting low to the ground.
So, you are saying that Contreras has a nice squat to him?

If they traded Trout to the Cubs, Yankees, Rangers, A's, Dodgers or Red Sox would be strike 1.
If moved to Vegas, or San Antonio, that would be strike 2.
If Arte continues to operate as a small market club in order to maximize his own profit, strike 3.
I'd have to find a new team then, and I guess it'd be a toss up between the Padres and Giants.
The Las Vegas Angels sounds like a Strip Club...
Would new jerseys be covered in glitter?

Don't care who wins, really. Maybe a slight edge to Cubs since Cleveland Cavs just won NBA but otherwise, I just want 7 games.

By the way, did you guys know the entire every game of the 2002 World Series in its completion is on YouTube? Just so ya know.
I didn't know but I did just rewatch Game 6 & 7. That was fun. A few thoughts came to mind as I watched. 1. The Angels are the last team from the AL West to have won a World Series Championship. 2. Fun to see some old names I barely remembered in Brad Fullmer, Orlando Palmiero, & Tim Worrell, Tom Goodwin for SF. 3. The last fly out off Kenny Lofton's bat , which when I originally watched scared me at 1st when I was at the Game until I saw Erstad settle under it, still makes me laugh and smile with joy. I'm glad I got to see the Angels win at least 1 World Series. Sure would be nice if we could get another one. I'll be honest. Watching some of my Dodger friends watch these games with nerves & intensity makes me jealous.

On the top right you'll find applications ... gamefeed is the one you want then select the game you want. Once you're in that, the column on the far right is xBA or expected batting average. It's a really fun tool to have up while you watch a game (at least for me). There is heaps of other cool Statcast data on there.
Thank you!!! It is a fascinating tool. Crazy that can track things like that now. Thanks again!

Hey Oz,
I know u posted that link before about stats & what % of the time a certain ball is a hit ( like tonights 90% a hit, 70% a Hr) I know you posted it before but I didn't bookmark it & I can't remember where you posted it before. Thanks in advance

I think letting Blanton pitch to the lefty Montero was a mistake. Blanton has had a good year & had pitched well up until this game.
In other news, Trout is better than Altuve. How is this even a debate?

How bout Kershaw can't pitch in playoffs because his ERA is damn near 5???
Also, how much will Giants overpay for a Closer next season? 32 blown saves this season! & we thought Angels bp was bad... Hey Gigantes... Huston Street IS available. Look how good Gillespie turned out. Former Angels are your thing man... Ehhh... Ehhhhh???

So awesome. Karma is a bitch & so is Odor...
Man, Toronto fans are LOUD. Listening to the game on the radio, you would have thought you were listening to a football game. Good for them. Their lineup is tough. Next series should be great.

absolutely meaningless information. the situation was what it was.
Interestly enough, Bautista is 3-38 lifetime vs Ubaldo.
Still doesn't excuse Showalter not bringing in Britton , IMO, to start the 11th. There is no tomorrow.
Also, Orioles have only allowed 1 walk off HR all regular season. Hit by none other than Edwin Encarnacion.

BMI in isolation is a more useless metric than W/L for a pitcher.
Funny enough, Bartolo Colon is the active leader in career wins...

Ok Trout... Now just the easy part ...;-)

Now I feel older
How is that possible?
No way Weaver lasts in Arlington. I can see him being a #5 in a bigger stadium in Petco, Dodger Stadium or the Giants.
