    Man..it's things like this that make me wonder if there serious about winning. C'mon man this should not be so hard. Why do we have to be so difficult with these types of decisions.

    One thing that really irritated me yesterday watching Iannetta catch is when Bedrosian was pitching he looks like was gonna get out of it if it wasn't for Iannetta dropping a foul tip ball out of his mitt. The dude had it and dropped the freaking ball. Stuff like that and of course his "stabbing" at pitches. It's the little things like that that makes a huge difference.

    Was Grant Green drafted as a shortstop? It's obvious that 3rd base will have to be his position if he's gonna stay with us. No room in outfield and Howie and Aybar are here. He will have to work at getting better at 3rd.

    Well said Doc, agree 100% with what you said. I wish just a handful of our hitters had the same approach as those guys. Amazing that Oakland is doing what there doing with the payroll they have. Hats off to them. Dipoto needs to build our farm teams in the A's philosophy.

    Do you guys seriously think they will do this? That would make no sense to send down Morin. He's holding his own with major league hitters and hasn't looked rattled at all.

    Why can't we just bring up a guy like Morin or Bedrosian or Berg? All 3 of these guys have more potential than Salas or Jepsen.

    How awesome is it to have a power arm from the right side in Richards and a power arm from the left side in Skaggs. Loving these 2 potential studs!

    I see we got some riveting discussion going on here. But my two cents are we should sign Garza especially at this 4 year 55 million deal if possible. What we need are consistent quality starts. And if you have a career 3.80 ERA thats pretty good these days. Add in Skaggs and Santiago potential and I think we would be in contention. The key here is quality starts are Garza would give us this.

    I agree but can we really expect the Offense to be top 3? Especially with the uncertainty of Pujols and Hamilton. Not to mention our horrible RISP stats.

    It's really hard to believe that we are in such deep trouble regarding the pitching situation, but we really are. It's gonna be really hard to trade for a pitcher who can actually be useful to us. Not many teams trade those types of guys. So we are gonna have to hit the jackpot and get really lucky that a pitcher who isn't that sought after turns into gold for us. I still think we should go all out and get Tanaka regardless of price.

    Lol..love the responses. Same here though it's my favorite jersey and Angels logo as well. It's really tough to find it though.

    We need to find players like this guy. This dude if he gets behind in the count knows to how work it back to full count and when he does he can drive the ball and spray it anywhere. Has power. WALKS! If we had at least 2 more players like this along with Trout and Kole we'd be an efficient and clutch offense.

    Awesome now I for sure ain't watching this game. So I'm guessing the lefty is the reason for no Calhoun? Got it Sosh. Cause you know absolutely everything and you know that Kole can't hit Lefty pitching. Got it.

    Well said everyone. Just wanted to give my 2 cents on this guy. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have players like this guy who shows a high IQ batting approach. He puts himself in good hitting counts by working the pitchers. Good things will happen when you do this. Guys like Aybar, Howie, Trumbo, Hamilton don't do these things. Which is why we struggle to to score runs. We need more players like Calhoun on our team.
