    The thing I hate though is that now he seems to be pitching better only because his job is in question. I don't want to punish Jerome because of this dude. Why didn't he pitch like this earlier the first month and half?

    Very frustrating man. This team can't afford to lose to teams like the Astros. Don't they know they have dug themselves a huge hole and that now every game is almost must win. I guess they don't realize it or don't care.

    I just hope we can win this game. It's not like we can be giving away games at this point. We've dug ourselves a deep hole and we need every win we can get. But again it's the Astros so I hope Hanson can pitch well.

    Is anyone surprised that after Mike Butcher came out to talk to Coello that he suddenly started to lose his command and couldn't find the strike zone?

    I have to question Sosh here. How can you bring in Kohn when we had better options in De La Rosa and Coello? Is he playing that senority card again? Just because Kohn has been in the majors longer than the other two doesnt mean anything over actual talent.

    I have to say a part of me gets really angry every time Corbin or Skaggs dominates. But then another part of me says we have the guy who executed the deal. Don't forget Dipoto has also got us guys like Vargas, De La Rosa, Coello. This may not seem like much but these 3 have contributed greatly to our pitching staff this season. Also JB Shuck has turned out to be a real solid player for us.

    I knew we were bound to find some good quality arms from our minors. Just try as much guys as we possibly can and see what sticks. I don't see why it's not possible we can't find 2 or so quality relievers. We may have found one in Coello.

    Nice win today. I as a die hard just as much as all you guys are looking for any glimmer of hope. This maybe it. Bull pen, our stars all hitting, starting pitching doing it's job. Man it's great to be talking positive after a game.

    Coello looked pretty damn good to me. He's got great movement on his pitches.

    I actually think there could be something here. I mean if we think about Trout he was comfortable last season playing center and leading off. I know it doesn't look like big deal moving him to lead off and batting him 2, but I just think he needs to be comfortable and himself this way.

    This really is the most frustrating thing ever. The team battles to get the lead and the bullpen gives it right back. Hopefully they hold them here

    Damn. I had a terrible feeling that Blanton would screw up sooner or later. We got lucky the first 5 innings we survived.
