    I don't think anyone has accused the team in general of not caring, mostly just a particular clean up hitter with a hefty salary.

    After tonight they'll be 9-17 and one game closer to completely overhauling the staff and roster.

    They'll win 15 of their last 20 for an interim manager once they're eliminated and kill their chances of getting a top 5 pick just like 99.

    I can't remember a team so heartless and incomplete. It wouldn't be a bad idea to just gut the coaching staff and most of the players. Kind of like the Colts did before this past football season.

    Efren Navarro last 10 days is hitting .297 with a .400 OBP and a .486 SLG for the Bees.

    If you're at the point that you need to have a closed door meeting with your team, then you're not doing enough to motivate your team on a day to day basis. At this point, I think the front office and the coaching staff need to have a closed door meeting.

    I love going to the IE 66ers games. Those kids got heart and play like they want better things.

    How many former mediocre Angels are out there now playing better than they did before? Santana is just one. I'm pretty sure it's day to day coaching, not front office management at this point.

    There are no catchers in the system that are supposed to be the "future". Might as well play Conger consistently and find out if he's the guy of the future.

    He's been the best player on the team so far this year.

    Another guy that's started to suck now that he's with an inferior franchise.

    I don't expect him to turn chicken ish into chicken salad. That being said, I expect that chicken ish to have a set of stones and be able to throw strikes.

    For not having a pick in the top 100 they did well in last year's draft. Really well actually. If they can have a similar draft again this year, their lower levels will be stocked. To the peanut gallery their farm system will still look bad because they mostly pay attention to the higher levels.

    They always have great deals. Thirsty Thursdays and all that. Some of the Angels' better prospects are playing there too.

    In all honesty I have no problem telling a parent their son isn't playing because he doesn't practice with the same intensity as the guy ahead of him.

    From what you could see into the dugout, was Butcher even try to coach Richards or any pitcher? Or was he just hanging by Scioscia's side chewing sides like a good minion?
