I was at Fort Benning waiting on my Ranger school to start when i was woken up by my room mate. My first thought was why is Peter Jennings on ESPN? I had fallen asleep watching ESPN apparently. Then it went into anger, and sadness. The sad part is, i am EOD and i know lots about explosions. Knowing it was planes and fuel, Fire + liquid against steel is not a good combo, i had a horrible feeling that those towers would collapse. Then we heard about the pentagon, a building I have visited multiple times and knew some that worked there, I couldn't help but wonder if they were ok. We had been called for muster so we immediately got dressed and assembled. Within 30 mins i was on a plane back to Grafenwoehr Germany to rejoin my unit. We spent almost the whole flight glued to com's getting every bit of information we could, no one slept, the adrenaline was high and every one was pumped we wanted pay back.

Leave it to the Angels to make Balti. look like a playoff bound team.

Vlad by far, Haren was nice. Ohtani was a nice surprise.

It was a nice stunt for sure, but he has done more to cause divide in this country than any other. As one would expect from a Russian tool.

Good old Strat. Played this tons. I remember when AAA stealing ability first appeared. Are they playing advanced mode or simple ? I would hope advanced to get the Lefty/Righty thing going.
I bet Trout is a 2 Column guy, while Rendon is either a 1 or 3.

While everyone is praising Rendon as a player and adding that he'll be a great addition to the Angels lineup, rather than focusing on that and focusing on the reported Corey Kluber, Jon Gray interest in trade talks + available FA's still available, these clowns just keep trashing the team for having no pitching.
Listen guys, the season doesn't start tomorrow and pay attention, there's plenty of options available to improve the staff. You know, the one thing Eppler said he was going to do with Arte's money this offseason.
So frustrating to listen to. It's almost like they're not even at the winter meetings and without the use of a cell phone and wi-fi.
I would not listen to much, that channel is (and has been for a few years now) the Mets fan club, who cares what they think? those guys are usually wrong anyway.

I was a fan starting about '92 or '93. I was about 7 or 8. But from about '97-2001 our rotation was pretty much this bad every year. Maybe I'm misrembering, but wasn't Ken Hill our ace at some point? I know it was a different era and the run scoring environment was different, but I remember those teams winning and losing a lot of 9-7 games.
Yesssss... When kill Hill is your ACE, the staff is seriously shit. Sorry guys, but that time was worse than this.

There was nothing going to stop this team tonight, good for them.

I do not always like what i see happen with the Angels. People on here just as in life over react and hyperventilate over nothing constantly. But in the end, i love Baseball, and I get to watch Trout almost every day. The future is looking bright and while some things never work out the way we like it is hard for me not to love it. I grew up with Jim Edmonds, Lance Perish came to my school lots, George Hendrick (Captain Easy) lived down the road, and Rod Carew was a close personal friend of the father of one my better friends. So hell yeah, i am a nut swinger big time.

The news of this has provided me with lots of entertainment today. All the opinions out there vary of course, but the most butt hurt and angry of them all i have observed, are both Philly and get this, Dodger fans. The most common of the statements made are of course Trout will never win, and the team has and done nothing while he has been here. These comments come from "well informed" baseball people that have zero idea whats been going on around here since the departure of DipShit. There are a few so called "experts" in the media that have made the statements that we are in fact rebuilding the farm, and making strides to improve the team. Typical Yankee, Boston, and Dodger fans answer is to just throw money at it. Russo was a prime example of someone who lives in the east coast shell and has zero idea about the Angels and what is actually going on.
Just a brief tidbit of my thoughts....
Today has been a great entertainment day, have not had this much fun since the signing of Ohtani.
Retirement is sweet!
