As some one who has been to the sand pit allot, i can safely say we have made a difference.  You only hear about the bad, but believe me there is good.  No matter what you do, no matter what you say, no matter actions you take, someone will not like it (some of the comments in this thread for instance).  Believe it or not, a vast majority of the people over there look up to us.  They want us to help, they see our wealth and believe or not, our TV shows and they ask "why cant you stop this".  

I could go on about this for a very long time.  But in short i will just say this, destroying an IDEA is impossible, but destroying the ones with the idea is easy.  We only go where the people with the idea to kill Americans is greatest.  And the ones with the ideas in the places where most of the $$$$ is, is where we go.

I wish he had another one of him... the glory days of him, shields, and weber... I miss that.

I was going to say... The jays in 92 - 93 were outstanding, one of the best outfields i have ever seen.  Surprised they did not make the list.  And you're right, that lineup was scary.

I wonder how many of the complainers on this board came around in '02 ?  Remember back then several people stated (I was one of them) that the new breed of angel fan would be a spoiled brat ? Welp we are seeing it.

This team currently is not very good, i would be happy if we went .500.  The Angels have work to do, but in the interim, i get to enjoy some baseball and watch Trout.  Yeah they suck right now, and will for awhile, but its still my Angels, i am still a very big fan, and will always be a big fan.  Like you Strandling i do not understand how so many can be a fan, yet curse, scream, and throw tantrums over stuff they have no control over.  Because in their mind set they want to hate, but yet call themselves a fan.

Be a fan of baseball, enjoy Trout , you are witnessing something special.  He will go down as one of the best ever, and you were there to watch him.
