  1. Did a little birdy tell you that?
  2. I'm sorry, but if Storm is still active on the site after literally years of verbal abuse over his view of Bourjos then you're not allowed to leave. You can leave when Storm does. Or wait until you argue with Lifetime and commit suicide.
  3. Kazmir was playing baseball in a parking lot in an independent league a few years ago, which means every single MLB team took a look at him and decided at that time there was no way to fix him. I guess that means all 32 pitching coaches are worthless.
  4. Hah, it reminded me of that for some reason
  5. This exact same thing was posted 5 years ago when Aybar was hitting .320. He just had that monster doubleheader at KC and someone posted that Aybar should be the centerpiece of a trade for Halladay. The consensus then was that Aybar was untouchable and it was "crazy" to trade him away for anyone. Shoemaker will regress, if we can get good value for him do it.
  6. Really? My friend would like a word with you. http://m.mlb.com/video/v7065153/?game_pk=263168
  7. The thing I remember most about Hudler is staying on Steve Finley's jock the entire season. Finley hit a home run late in the year, I think in SF, and he spent the rest of the game talking about how he knew it was just a matter of time and this could be the big turn around he needs. Puke.
  8. I can find my old glove somewhere. I'll probably walk less guys than these jokers.
  9. I'd just like to point out that F'n Stoneman didn't come out of nowhere. The overwhelming sentiment by fans on this board 5 years ago was that Stoneman didn't have the balls to make a move and hated that he held onto prospects instead of making trades. The problem isn't that they made moves, it's that they made the wrong moves.
  10. I'm surprised the guy isn't taking more heat for this. He's literally eating candy bars in the outfield and signing balls for pretty girls while he goes 0-8 in a 19 inning loss? I dislike Josh more each day.
  11. And if they lost with straight faces you guys would complain that they're pressing too hard and not having any fun. Give me a break.
  12. In the books it was the Brave Companions... but in the TV show its by one of Roose Bolton's men, Locke. Roose Bolton is one of Rob Stark's bannermen, his sigil is that of the flayed man which looks like a red X. He is the one who delivers the bad news to Rob and promises to find Jaime ("I have my best hunter after him"). Roose Bolton is currently holding Harrenhal while Rob took the majority of their forces back to Riverrun for Hoster Tullys funeral. As for who has Arya... rewatch this scene: http://youtu.be/uF7jEehDjnU Ned Stark sent Beric Dondarrion to kill The Mountain because of his attacks against the people of the Riverlands. Tywin ordered it (in retaliation for Catelyn taking Tyrion), so Ned Stark demanded Tywin surrender himself and answer for his crimes. This effectively started the war. You'll learn more about what Beric has been up to in the coming episodes.
  13. If Fuentes hadn't grooved an 0-2 fastball to ARod in game 2 of the ALCS you'd all be saying "but it was worth it".
  14. In his post game interview howie said "i've never done this before"... I was like ya, we know.
  15. Trout and Aybar / Romine Weaver / Blanton
  16. Reagins. I'd also point out that Adenhart's death set the Angel's back substantially from a baseball standpoint. Not only did we lose him, but we lost a plethora of farm talent through a series of trades that tried to fill a rotation spot (Kazmir, Haren, Greinke). Sure a lot of those guys didn't work out, but they could have been moved to fill another spot besides SP. Our rotation could be Weaver Wilson Adenhart Vargas OR Hanson Skaggs
