I wouldn't mind a new stadium. I don't hate what we have, bit the newer ones are so much better.
Maybe one day people can stop the "of Anaheim" discussion and poor jokes. I really don't comprehend how people don't understand the business and financial ramifications of LA, but the contractual obligations of Anaheim simply because of sentiment.

I have been a die hard fan of The Angels since the mid 70s, since I can remember. I spend $$$ every year seeing, them including this past weekend. I buy gear evey year, hats, jerseys and whatnot. My desk is loaded with Angels clocks and mousepads, rally monkeys etc...I dont have a 2nd favorite team, well, except any team playing someone in the AL West.
My Fn IPhone has an Angels cover, still, right now.
 Watching this team "play", if thats what you call it these days, is painful. Its heartbreaking. Its not fun, exciting, or remotely entertaining. ITS HEARTBREAKING.
I cant watch ESPN, MLB Network, because its going to be brought up HOW BAD THIS TEAM IS.I work at a radio station that has ESPN right next door, and guess what those dudes want to talk to me about everyday???? UGGHHH.  I cant hear it anymore, or take it. I cant believe for a second that this season, of my favorite sport and favorite team in ANY sport is OVER.
Will I watch these guys tonight? Yes. But have I been racing to get home to watch this pathetic display of whatever the F they are doing??? Hell no!
You know what Im excited for? Football. I cant wait to see what my football team can do. I root for The Chiefs BTW. yeah, its that bad. NFL Network is on in my home. In MAY? Unheard of in my house, but its the deal.
I am a lifelong fan, who cant wait for baseball season to start every single year. Just because Im angry, disgusted and heartbroken, doesnt mean Im a bandwaggoner. If anything, Im too emotionally invested and need to take a breath and just say its only baseball.

Excuse me?? Do you have a problem with reading comprehension? I said OUTSIDE OF APRIL, PUJOLS WAS PUJOLS. He batted over .300 and had x amount of RBIS and HRs (Im sure someone has exact numbers). regardless, those numbers were PUJOLS numbers. THAT WAS IN HIS FIRST YEAR. And this year, his 2nd year, so far, outside of his sluggish running abilities, he has been hitting very well, sqauring up the ball, getting on base and ultimately doing what he should be. Hes been a bright spot, or at least he hasnt been the problem.
 
His contract is long, yes and I think we are all resigned to the fact that the last few years of it are going to be tough. but that has nothing to do with rigt now, and right now, hes doing his job.

Yeah, De La Rosa has actually pitched decently. Butcher is the problem. How else do you explain Kazmir falling apart, and Fraudney being lights out last year?? The Padres need to fire Bud Black so he can come back.

The thing we don't know is if Arte has directed him to get more sluggers. It's possible that Arte wants offense cuz it's sexier than Pitching. DiPoto was a pitcher, so I can't imagine that he doesn't understand how important pitching is. It is possible that Arte is more in charge than we think because of what Reagins did. And as far as Santana and Haren a concerned, they both sucked for us last year, and Santana has been a head case for us. Sure hindsight is 20/20 and Ervin is dojng well, but we couldn't wait to get rid of him. I'd look at Butcher for our pitching issues before DiPoto. Why is CJ so crappy all of the sudden?? It's not because of JD.

I love how people want to blame DiPoto. He isn't the reason the farm system is dog poop. Also, you have to believe that Arte wanted Hamilton and Pujols. Also, it's not his job to lead these guys and put them in the best space to play. That's Soshs job. His job is to get the players. What other starting pitching a available that we could of signed? Bullpen? It's not his fault CJ drops a deuce on the mound when he goes out either.
Way to early to judge DiPoto considering what he's been handed( farm system) and more than likely instructed to get ( Pujols and Hamilton).

Watching my Football team (KC Chiefs) play.

I was a casual fan of the team in '78, but became a hardcore fan from the get-go in 1979, which also made it a special thing for me being it was my first full season as an Angels fan, seeing them get to the playoffs. I watched and listened to every game as a nine year old. 

My Godfather pitched for The Yankees back in the 50s. My whole family, being from the Bronx, were Dodger fans, except of course my GodFather. After he retired from baseball, he and the rest of my family moved to So Cal. The Dodgers also moved around the same time. The Angels also became a major league team around the same time and he adopted them as his second team. He was a Yankee first, but Angel second. Since I was very little, he would take me to Angels games, since his house was right around the corner from Angel Stadium. He also taught me to hate The Dodgers. It was him and I vs the rest of the family. Good times.
My favorite player growing up was Bobby Grich.

I don't care that we aren't winning yet, but wow does our minor league pitching suck. That concerns me in general. Hope DiPoto gets that handled and somehow stocks up on some good raw pitching talent because it seems we are hurting bad in that dept.
