Stupid yellow line in right field! All it does is hinder normal flow of the game.  Total waste of energy. Confuses outfielders and runners then stops everything for a review.  Really bad idea. Since no one seems to know what the net run total for the Angels is, just erase it or  prove it works for us. Bad idea.

I didnt notice any mention of my managerial candidate in this thread but my apologies if it has. I think if Arte and Perry are looking for a hard core baseball guy on a budget then Gary DiSarcina seems to fit the  bill. A combination of accrued knowledge on and off the field , toughness and Angel legacy gets my vote. Well respected bench coach to a historical frachise just adds to his resume. I bet he would jump at the opportunity.  (I hope).

I'm not jumping on this bandwagon, at least with Rendon. Yes strange behaviour,  odd interactions with fans etc looks real bad. Not to mention his injury prone history. But "hates baseball" is to me a strech. He didn't get this far by hating a sport which millions dream of but only a handful can attain.  He is a strange bird that I can see but baseball has always had some oddballs. Good and bad. Maybe some hidden demons  similar to Hamilton. Who knows. Hopefully he will wake up. In the meantime the Angel Org is SOL.  PLEASE SELL ARTE! 

Do these umps get mandatory vision tests at least 2x a year?  Love to see a published list. Angel Hernandez results. I know their union would never permit that.

I thought this was because of the Ms burying the Angels hopes this weekend. 

Would a contract like 40M/Y + some type of team investment, merchandise % pass the player's union approval? Or is this wishful thinking? 

While umpire bias or influence can be a factor of some egregious calls, asking a human being to make an instantaneous decision based on near 100 mph pitch with near whiffle ball snap movements against an imaginary 3d zone 200 + times a game is next to impossible. The technology is now demonstrating this. The time to use and perfect this tech has become a necessity . Lets help these guys from becoming a total embarrassment.
