Right, just not a very good team. 3/5 of the rotation is problematic, only three solid relievers, and a bunch of worthless hitters, particularly Hicks who continues to get starts and hit way too high in the lineup.

Yup, definitely a difficult schedule, sans Miami who is likely going to be terrible this season but the Reds might be improved after a surprising 82-80 last season. I am not sure what to make of Boston this early but, in that division, I would be pretty surprised if they made the post-season. Overall, a very strange schedule without any divisional games, 5 series against the AL East, and three interleague series.

Hicks shouldn't be batting 5th (or playing at all...), but it's not bad, given what we're working with.

I would be fine if Neto was hitting the ball well and had good at bats, but his excuse me swings at pitches 6+ inches off the plate is so reminiscent of Angels offense over the last half a decade and it just makes me sick watching him in the box.
