  1. Harvin's a solid player, but he wants way too much money for someone who has never had a 1000 yard season.
  2. I blame Canada that he's making so much money. Hopefully we get our revenge tomorrow. I predict a 6-3 victory.
  3. No homo I assume. Back to Kendrick, I have no idea what he'll do this season, and I never do with him. So I really have nothing to offer to this thread. I apologize for wasting the time of anyone who read this post.
  4. And while we're on the subject of late 60's English bands, I wish Cream would have stuck around longer. The combination of Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton, and Ginger Baker is simply amazing.
  5. The Kinks were great, whenever Wonder Boy or Waterloo Sunset comes on the iPod I can't help but feel happy.
  6. Ok I didn't read of all of that, but I started to and you're a script writer?
  7. Cough... already on the team... cough... before he was manager.... cough We really have no idea what affect MS had on Molina who had already been developed in the minors and had some experience in the majors before MS came here. I'll give you him though since Mike arrived in 2000 and that is the year Bengie became the regular catcher. I would love to hear an interview of Molina talking about Scioscia's influence.
  8. Molina was already on the major league club before MS became manager.
  9. The fat ass you are thinking of is Kevin James. And yes, he is terrible.
  10. I don't get how anybody couldn't like John Malkovich. I think most actors are pretty bad, but he's amazing. Watch Color Me Kubrick
  11. I love both of them but I refer Zeppelin. I always wonder how Pink Floyd would have ended up had Syd Barrett not lost his mind. For those who may not know, Syd Barrett was the original lead singer/guitarist/song writer for PF. He wrote this song: And this:
  12. Purchase Ok Computer, In Rainbows, and The Bends. Then you'll get it.
  13. Oh and Revis is damn good, but I believe Bayless is just going with the thought that Revis has been so dominant that he must still be the best. IMO, Revis has been a top 5 corner but he is coming off a serious injury and he played in a division where the WR's haven't been very good during his tenure.
  14. "You are ignorant, pompous, egotistical, cretin." Lol, hilarious because it's true of both of them. I like Sherman's game a lot but he does talk way too much. Saying his goal was to become an All-Pro is ok, but I would prefer a player to say he wants to be a Super Bowl champion. With that said, good for him attacking two of the worst commentators in sports. I hate ESPN and rarely watch it, but I admit I do like PTI. I don't necessarily find Kornheiser or Wilbon to be the most knowledgable analysts, especially Kornheiser seeing how bad he was on MNF, but they tend to respect athletes instead of just saying outlandish things to spark controversy. Pretty funny video, and I am glad that Sherman called out Bayless.
  15. It hasn't been mentioned but The Pianist is a really good movie. The others I would put up there have all been mentioned: Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Braveheart, The Patriot, and Schindler's List.
  16. Pyramid Song Reckoner Lucky Karma Police All I Need How to Disappear Completely Paranoid Android No Surprises Bodysnatchers Fake Plastic Trees Just One of the greatest bands of all time. Jonny Greenwood is arguably the greatest musician of the past 30 years (he wrote the soundtracks for There Will Be Blood and The Master among others).
  17. Wow. I need to be a part of some kind of union. How much will they be getting in back pay? At least a few hundred thousand since they were fired in the early-mid 2000s.
  18. The Office (I did like the British version though) Modern Family Parks & Rec Any reality TV show that is popular Any crime-solving show that has the same generic plot And the obvious popular shows that are complete shit: Glee, Grey's Anatomy, That comedy with the two fat people
  19. It is pretty funny that Scioscia has yet to develop a catcher that has been adequate at both hitting and catching since he became manager.
  20. Excellent job might be a bit of a stretch, last seasons was his first as Beaver's head coach with less than four losses. He is a decent coach, but also is very conservative/stubborn. He pretty much cost them the game against Washington last season. Mannion threw four picks, and only after the last one did he finally pull him for Vaz, who almost came from behind to win it for them. He's a solid coach and everything, just nothing great IMO.
  21. Maybe he pulled a Frodo? Hobbits were often discriminated against in Middle Earth. This should wrap up the nerdiest post of the thread award.
  22. I don't think he said that he doesn't like it here. I would imagine he just wants to be treated equally, and by equally I mean like a white person.
