I'm sure recruiting will be better, but you've also had at least 5 decommits in the last 2 weeks or so.

Compare this with Notre Dame’s website. Most of their fans hated Brian Kelly and are glad he’s gone. He’s going to get curb stomped in the SEC and LSU fans will soon grow weary of his shit.
Marcus Freeman, who was their DC will be named their Head Coach. We’ll see how he does, a HC with no head coaching experience at a very high profile program. The last experiment, Charlie Weis didn’t end so well.
I mean, it ended well if you were an SC fan...

Correct, but they reached out after they fired Helton and planted the seed.
QuoteConversations with representation for Riley and other candidates carried on throughout the season, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the discussions who were not authorized to speak on the record. Bohn and Sosna had once before considered Riley, then-Oklahoma’s offensive coordinator, when conducting their last coaching search at Cincinnati, but ultimately landed on Luke Fickell, whose name was also regularly connected to USC’s search. – McCollough and Kartje, L.A. According to a story in the LA Times, the whole thing came together within about a 12 hour period after Oklahoma's game with Oklahoma State. Apparently USC believed that Riley was going to LSU. As soon as he said in his press conference that he was not going to be the next head coach at LSU, the wheels started turning.
Correct, but they reached out after they fired Helton and planted the seed.

What a day yesterday. Feels good.
changes the landscape out west.
some interesting names being tossed around for assistance, someone coming over from OU, some retained.
Lincoln is the most hated man in the state Oklahoma
USC is a rebuild though. Have to hit the portal hard and I believe the high school will comes. Need to develop in the trenches
I think he'll flip half a dozen recruits almost immediately. Was a good press conference. Sounds like Bohn and Sosna started long playing him and his team when they fire Helton two months ago

What fresh hell is this? Until I see him at Heritage Hall I will classify him as stuck on the I-5

Bohn and Heritage Hall has kept a tight lid on the search. They’re not using a search firm.
Aranda is the hot name. Matt Campbell is another hot name. Bill O’Brien has been floated around and other NFL assistants.
nobody really knows anything at this point. Could be a December hire, could be a January hire nothing has been leaked
so Hue Jackson is it.
You son of a...you best not speak that into existence!

Yeah Kelly isn’t going anywhere, especially to ND’s biggest intrasectional rival. No way.
Dave Aranda….local guy with connections. Coached at Redlands and still has some local clout. He seems like the logical choice, which means USC will hire Jimmy Lake from Washington.
Exactly, or try Coach O again.

Any of you trogan insiders have info on the head coaching rumors?
I keep hearing three names.
Brian Kelly (thinking behind this I guess is he’s gone as far as he can go, and then ND would grab Fickell)
Jeff Fisher (kill me now)
Jack del Rio (ditto)
I am hoping for someone who will return to trench warfare and a sense of physicality. Like a Wittingham or Dave Aranda

And he got a 15 yard penalty for that. Total BS
Reminded me of the scene in Semi Pro when Father Pat couldn’t comprehend the Alley Oop

My favorite part of the game was DTR signing that kids hat. Other than that, that performance should pretty much cement the complete turnover of the staff. This team is softer than baby poo

Son, you don't get that much laundry done and folded in two plus hours. Once the kids start with sports, laundry doesn't stop, and it doesn't give a shit about SCE's TOU
