On June 22 when they honor the 2002 WS team, Mike Scioscia will walk from the field back into the dugout to manage the team for the next ten years. AW will never be the same, but it will be glorious.

i would guess it has a lot to do with the clubhouse and the possibility he lost the team (or at least the leaders of the team).
for me, it was the goofy way he managed the pitching staff and the odd lineups he put out there. i thought he would be a good hire initially, but i found him to be rather frustrating on a day to day basis.

What was the issue w Maddon?
I never really blame the manager over the players. But why did everyone on here dislike him? Lineup? Pitching changes?
I thought he was Artes boy.... so this is kind of a shock...
I wonder if the team quit on him?

Most everyone else has gone the way of either using Twitter/Facebook to interact with fans about Angels baseball or they have a podcast and they use Twitter/Facebook and other social media platforms to evangelize their podcasts and content.
There's something to be said about being independent. I'm so glad I didn't sell my soul to the devil back in the day when Fox Sports, Scout, ESPN, Fansided and others asked us to move all of our members and content over to their platforms and write for them.

I'm hoping for the best, but I really do think he needs to go to SLC at this point. I get the feeling that he's hoping the ball doesn't get hit to him and that's never a good thing.
