  1. Trout Salmon Erstad Ryan Many more could go on this list like Downing, Tanana, Chance, Lynn, Hunter, Carew, Percival, Rodriguez, Glaus, Weaver I personally wouldn't put "slow motion" Anderson on it, but He did have a "heart" about the game.
  2. Actually looks like a decent lineup tonight, especially with the "slow one" not in the lineup. Would be a waste if we can't get the game in due to bad weather! At least it's the final game of the Road Trip and the boys will be back home tonight! There's something to be said for "home cooking"!
  3. There's a ton of young kid music on youtube, when my son was that age (23 yrs ago) Youtube didn't exist. We played the Lion King videotape for "way too long" so having "kid videos" that I can play for him on my phone takes care of it!
  4. My Grandson (11 months) is into Baby Shark. There's actually a "heavy metal" version of it on Youtube that's pretty good!
  5. I can easily see pastaman trolling this forum! If he is, I'd love to be a "fly on the wall" at his home!
  6. I'm very happy Mike is back. I'd switch Fletch and Kole in the lineup but other than that not too bad today!
  7. So any updates on when Mike will be back in the lineup? Or is he still "Day to Day"?
  8. Been waiting for the GDT, almost went ahead and started it myself! Go Angels!
  9. Tommy is one of those players who you might strongly "dislike" but they "grow" on you. Heck if the Cubs fans (who can be pretty rough on players) like Tommy, he can't be that bad of player! Initially I wasn't a big fan of "Tommy Boy", but as the past week has shown, you have to give him a chance. Love this GIF response on todays Angels Lineup post on twitter:
  10. On the way yesterday to an client appt. I listened to the radio broadcast for the 1st time this year, which was nice. Mark mentioned his "adventure" of finding his way down through the "nooks and crannies" of Wrigley field on his way to that interview with Maddon, and how he walking into the Cubs hitters meeting, quickly walking his out of it.
  11. I'll 2nd that. They are genuine, and do work well together. So Mark may be a "little" goofy by some people's standards, but he's a former player who brings his own perspective to the broadcasts. IMHO for those who are not fans of Victor and/or Mark, they have a job (career) that they enjoy and most of would give almost anything to have for one day, let alone an entire season/career.
  12. Also talk of those who don't work on Fridays, and getting drunk too!
  13. I too noticed the "change" in how the Angels did their social media! I like the way it's being done now!
  14. Dang, saw Pujols at 1st and remembers Oh Yeah we're playing at a NL stadium so no DH this series, and a few double swaps each game. Also very (pleasantly) surprised to see this thread already on page 3 a full 90 minutes before the game even starts. I guess there a few of us who have this forum on another tab on the work computer open so they can "pop in" in-between work, Yeah sure!
  15. I certainly won't, and I really don't want to see it at all. Just funny how good of a prediction it was!
  16. https://www.successories.com/iquote/author/21119/mike-scioscia-quotes/1 Last quote on that page!
  17. What a difference 6 games make. After Thursday night's Home Opener, Tommy was the kid who nobody wanted on their team. Today's headline (From the Angels) Tommy is the lead name in the headline!
  18. "It's written into the fabric of baseball that with games on the line that have bearing on the race, you try and put your best lineup out there." That seems like it could be a Yogi Berra quote, but it's from the "Pastaman"
  19. Along with the "hot women" and "some blow" to go with that yacht!
