  1. I still like to play poker. I usually play 4-6 times a year. I used to work at Morongo in Cash Ops and due to that I couldn't play any poker/21/slots. Only could play in the once year employee tournament. I did go up to the WSOP in 2007 to play in the Casino Employee WSOP Tournament. Now that my son is "legal" to play poker, we are going to make a few trips to see what we can do1
  2. I guess Tommy must be reading the AW forums, since he's turning things around in the past few days!
  3. What ever you want to call it, "weird" or "fill in the blank", I personally will take the season the way it has played out so far. You don't win the World Series in your 1st game, 1st series, 1st home stand, or 1st month. It's a 162 regular season journey!
  4. It's remembering people like Nick (and other family/friends) who make me appreciate every day I wake up! As I've gotten older I now appreciate everything more and more, and try not to sweat the small stuff, cause usually it works out in the end! BTW, Thanks @Chuckster70 for sharing those pictures!
  5. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Adenhart Great amount of info about Nick, plus 72 links for reference!
  6. Funny how in the past 3+ games, most of us (myself included regarding Tommy Boy) have been "bad mouthing" the Angels players/pitchers, and LO AND BEHOLD, they come through and do something awesome!!!!! Maybe we need to keep up the "bad mouthing" and keep the team winning like it has since our Home Opener!
  7. Good old Doug Eddings! https://www.mlb.com/news/looking-back-at-game-2-of-2005-alcs-vs-angels/c-133609664

  9. Mark & Brian are coming back to KLOS. One of the most decorated morning shows in radio history, the Mark & Brian Show will return to KLOS for a one-time only, KLOS 50th anniversary reunion show, Thursday afternoon, April 25th, from 3 to 7. They’ll also make an epic guest appearance earlier that day at 9am with Frosty, Heidi & Frank, who that took the torch from Mark and Brian and kept KLOS in the #1 spot for entertaining talk in the mornings. The return of Mark & Brian, Thursday April 25th … only on The Rock of Southern California, 95.5 KLOS. http://www.955klos.com/markandbrian/
  10. Just shot Victor and Mark a message about saying something about Nick tonight, we'll see what happens!
  11. It's hard to believe it's 10 years since Nick Adenhart's last start!
  12. Some of my friends and I are going to check out the Grand Prix Practice this Friday. This will be my 3rd time joining the, most of them have been going on the Friday of race weekend for the past 15+ years. Anyone else planning on check out the racing activities? https://gplb.com/weekend-schedule/
  13. Somehow I think that this topic will be the "main part" of today's GDT!
  14. Been patiently waiting this thread to start all afternoon! I see we have Tommy Boy in the lineup, and NO Fletch! ARGH!
  15. BTW, Keith Sharon wrote the OC Register article about @VictorRojas29 and Kim! It's tough when a loved one (especially your spouse) is going something like this! It was tough on my Mom and I when we went through my Dad's ultimate last 2 years of his life 22 years ago. Thank God for my wife's support towards My Mom and myself. Having the support of your close friends and family helped me out back then. I know all of the @AngelsWin.com family is thinking of Victor and Kim right now!
