  1. The Chowder heads are 1-4, down 0-1 against the Oakland right now, they lose tonight they are 4 games behind the Rays with 2 games more against Oakland, and a 3 game series in Arizona before they head home for their home opener Tuesday against the Jays!
  2. I'm sure someone will dig up that info, should be interesting to see if/when it has happened!
  3. Just like you don't talk about a "No No" when it's still a "No No"!
  4. Except for Smith as DH, not too bad of a lineup, now let's see what they can do tonight! At least there's no Tommy Boy, and we have both Fletch and Borjesus in the lineup!
  5. It's too bad we can't clone Fletch and dump Tommy Boy! Not too bad of a lineup except for Tommy Boy being in it!
  6. That sounds like a Yogi Berra quote to me! "We made too many wrong mistakes." - Yogi Berra
  7. Saw on Twitter a little while ago. At least we can keep the Faith in the Angels!
  8. https://www.si.com/eats/2019/03/28/los-angeles-angels-beer-list-angel-stadium-best-options Headed to Angel Stadium this season? Here's a comprehensive look at the beers you can expect to see around the ballpark. Cheapest and most expensive: The Angels did not provide pricing information for their beer offerings for the 2019 season. New for 2019: Angel Stadium’s new beers include two from Santa Monica Brew Works: 310 California Blonde and an IPA. Other new offerings include Coronado Brewing Weekend Vibes IPA, Karl Strauss Aurora Hoppyalis IPA, Chihuahua Rico Lager and Modern Times Fortunate Islands (pale wheat ale). Local beer choices: In addition to Santa Monica Brew Works’ three beers, L.A.-based Golden Road offers Point the Way IPA, Tart Mango Cart, Wolf Pup IPA and 329 Lager. Other local options include Left Coast Trestles IPA, Hangar 24 Orange Wheat, Stone Tropic of Thunder Lager, Towne Park Blonde Ale and Artifex Unicorn Juice. Any stadium-specific brews? No. Best choice for beer snobs: Saint Archer Mosaic (4.33/5) scores the highest, followed by Karl Strauss Aurora Hoppyalis IPA (4.21/5) and Modern Times Orderville (4.13/5).
  9. He seems to be a really "down to earth" type of person, when Jose asked him whom he looked up to as a player, he said "I just want to be me"!

  11. But we can work with "Bradley David Ausmus", and to he's another one of those "catchers" who've become a manager Last night when we (The Angels) were down 0-2, many wanted to give Bradley the "boot"! Give him some time and let's see how things work out!
  12. I could see some of us with their blood pressure rising out of range quickly when the Angels were behind! Keep calm and the Angels will win!
  13. Amazing how many people gave up on the Angels in this game! Ye have little faith!
  14. Here's my list of what I've drive over the past 40 plus years: Chevy Camper Special - Auto Datsun B210 - Stick Datsun B210 - Auto Nissan Sentra - Stick Jeep Comanche Pickup - Stick Mazda Miata - Stick Honda Civic - Stick Majority of the miles I've driven have been in a vehicle with a stick. It's a pain in the butt during traffic, but not too bad if you know how to limit your shifting. I much prefer a stick anytime!
  15. It's a great place to find out what's going on with the Angels There are fans of other sports leagues here There's some other "techy" people here This place is like the Cheers bar where everyone knows your name, and no matter how long you've been away, you are always welcome back home
  16. I have a webinar for an hour at 11am, then I am going to watch the pregame and then the game. Unfortunately I might have to pause the game for an hour for a possible conference call with someone who's in Melbourne Australia which is 18hrs ahead of me. Still don't know if the call is going on for sure Thursday, or if we'll postpone it to sometime Friday afternoon, but I'm not going to complain about moving the call to Friday!
