Upton might be the streakiest hitter in baseball. He’s going to drive some people nuts
-
-
A’s are not as bad as people think. They should be in the upper half in offense in the AL. It’s their pitching that is lacking because of the injuries and the defense is just putrid

The Jinx.
Was Deadwood in the past 10 years? If so, Deadwood.
Yep. Seen Deadwood. A couple times haha. Ok I’ll check out the Jinx

I got HBO Now. I’ve seen the classics, but wanted to catch up on some of their shows done in the last 10 years or so. Any recommendations? I’m doing Boardwalk Empire and it’s pretty good but it sure is slow. The Wire is the greatest show ever made and I’ll probably rewatch The Sopranos

Yup. That's the one. Or at least one of the episodes. All of the episodes are stand alone's. And some stranger than others. That one was definitely on the strangest side of things.
I usually recommend that show to people then tell them to give the entire first season a try and not just base it off of that episode.

Pujols comin out hot this year! Love it!
-
I get excited to watch him hit. I can’t wait until he crushes one

If Heaney can stay healthy (big if) he will be dominant for us. Richards is the same thing. Tropeano and Ramírez can be very solid while Skaggs might have a tough time all year with flashes of what he could be. Ohtani will be fine. Might take a bit for him to get there but his stuff is incredible. Once he puts it together he can be dominant too
-
Ohtaniland or Troll, did you by chance take a picture of every one of the banners in front? I saw Scioscia but I always like knowing who is up there
-
I really like Tropeano, but chances are he will get a lot of starts with the big club this year

Lamb has been terrific. Not just his stats but his stuff looks really good. I’d love it if he finally put it all together and got a spot on this team
-
As much as Cowart hasn’t hit, he isn’t going to play all that much. When he does they need a defensive guy out there. And he has a little bit of speed. He will win us games with his defense this year

Ramirez
Pena
Lamb
Bedrock
Johnson
Parker
pretty sick 6 of 7 for the bullpen
-
I like our bullpen options. Worried Shoe will start out slow like he does every year
-
-
I’d really like to see Shoe get off to a good start this year. He’s always so slow out of the gate. We can’t have that this year with the Wild Card contenders that will be out there.
And I’m liking Cowart as the utility guy. He’s got a great glove which is what we need out of that spot. And a little bit of speed I suppose. I think he made a game saving diving play at 2nd last year. Against the Phillies maybe. Ended up gunning the guy out at 3rd?

did you write that Howie does nothing during the season? He's got 30 WAR for his career and career .291 avg.
I was just never a big Howie fan. He was over matched in the playoffs and killed it every spring training just to be an average player
-
I’m rooting for Cron. I always like seeing our former players do well. He was like Howie though. He crushes bad pitching in spring training then does nothing once the season comes along.
Ive always liked Lamb. I’m hoping he can perform well enough to make the team
-
Really like Ramirez and hope he gets a spot in the pen. I probably will never understand keeping Wood around. At least he will take some of the heat off of Alvarez....

Well, that start stunk but the dude saved us last year. Not saying he should keep making starts, but I very much thank him for last year
