What a lame offseason, least interesting I can recall for us in a long time.

To me the playoff runs are why he should go in as an Angel. He never really played any meaningful games with the Expos, with the Angels he was part of the greatest era in franchise history, winning the division title 5 out of his 6 years.

It really makes no sense, either Aybar OR Newcomb should have been the centerpiece with additional lesser pieces. I don't see how this makes the team any better.

I'll miss the goof. He was a sneaky son of a bitch, would do anything to win, even trying to fool umpires at second base with false tags. He added a level of lightheartedness to the team with his antics. Weaver's now the only guy left with any real tenure.
