  1. He was turning a new leaf last April when he hurt his hand. The man is playing how Tony envisioned he would. just years too late. The entire Angels lineup gets infected with swatting at flys. This organization talks about controlling the count as hitters, but free swinging is still the order of the day here in Anaheim. Hitting is muscle memory, and the only good memories Wells has is from the AL East. It's still home to him. He may hit 30 homers again. As long as Hamilton gets his act together, Wells won't sting us.
  2. I am a master at reverse psychology. I knew they would sweep the whole time.........I am a loser with no faith in my team. There i said it. So very glad I was wrong. I will post doom and gloom every series if they prove us all wrong!
  3. Epic Facepalm on my part. I should ban myself from posting for a week.
  4. He said in the preseason he was no good in the 4 hole, but Mike can put him in there where he wants
  5. He has never been good n the 4 hole. Move him to 3rd. It makes no sense, but baseball is 99 percent mental.
  6. Never heard Karros blame luck when the Halos get rocked. EVER.
  7. "I didn't mind Karros today, I thought he was complementary of the Angels." Karros was good today? He analysis was that every Angels hitter got lucky except Harris fought off pitches, and Trout hit it hard. Then he wouldnt let it go for the next 8 innings. Can't stand the guy, and the east coast dweeb was talking about the beach balls for the whole game. HAHAHAHAHAH FUNNY.
  8. Here to eat? Here to win? here to beat them? Anything but here to eat, as if we are a dead elk they will be ripping flesh off of. That may come to pass, but I don't get the humor, sorry Mr. Hunter. If I was a Tigers fan. I would LOVE THAT STATEMENT! Tweet from Josh Hamilton 9:48 am "I had a great 5 years in Arlington, but I am an Angel now, and we are here to collect our paychecks."
  9. Torii Hunter ✔ @toriihunter48 "Just landed in my old stumping grounds of Anaheim. Had a great 5 years here but I'm a Tiger now and we are here to eat." It's funny how charming becomes annoying when someone is on the other side. I find the statement amazingly arrogant, and a beat down by the Halos however unlikely, would be so sweet. Hamilton, can you please cooperate?
  10. Hard to be a leader when you don't lead off (Mensa Mike). Please Mr Trout, be the team leader. We are paying Mr Wells 20 times as much as you to play for someone else, and you stunk it up in center last year, so we moved you.
  11. Aybar.lol. Led our team to the offseason in 08, Key to Kendry's being off for 2 years by stomping on his batting helmet as he came down. We can't win without this man. He pulls pranks on El Hombre, and leaves chew balls all over the dugout floor larger than the stadium rats.
  12. Playing from behind EVERY night, is not conducive to relaxing and getting the offense going. When we have a lead it is given right back like clockwork. To think this team has had one game you would consider a relaxed win (in Texas), and there is no such a thing in that bandbox, even if you are up by 10 runs.
  13. And if we lost the World Series on a suicide squeeze attempt by Hamilton?
  14. I stood in the stands on that afternoon grand slam, and when Kendry didn't get up, I said to my wife "season over". I didn't expect it to mean the next 3 seasons over.
  15. CJ holds the keys. If the man continues to be an enigma as a Halo, we are doomed as far as having any dominance until Weaver gets back. Hopefully Weaver discovers 90 again.
  16. Maybe facing Verlander would have been good. We have knocked him around at home.
  17. Remember when GA was neck and neck with Jeter in total hits for their careers?
  18. This year is the first time I am refusing to watch the agony when games get out of control. I am turning it off and not feeling guilty about it. I am sad about that.
