Maybe I am losing my faith a bit, or not as good of a fan as some of you here, but I feel a sense of immanent doom heading into this series. I am not a fan of of this coaching staff, or Dipoto's starting pitcher moves but I don't want to see the bleeding continue. I was very excited to see Hamilton signed, yet it seems like a Napoli like beat down by Torii (specifically) and co. is brewing. The last 3 years have shaken my faith, and I need someone, anyone to give me some hope (more than 140 games left withstanding) we can take this series. I just don't see it.

I wiped my hands of supporting Mike after the 2008 squeeze play, and yet I believe Trevor is just a jilted lover. I give no credibility in hearing the opinions of crappy relievers, who were a part of this bullpen mess since 2011. Insert Mr Bell in place of Lowe and Jepsen the last few games, and the results would most likely have been worse.

Yankees pitching has been anything but lights out the last 2 seasons, and they were playoff bound. Don't write off this lineup's ability to overcome our mediocre starting 3 through 5. I am scared of the A's, because unlike the Angels they breed good pitchers like no one else. The A's preach patience at the plate, and Cespedas will be in the hunt for MVP this year.

I heard stories about fans flicking quarters at him while on the field, and mocking him for his "greed". He wasn't the nicest guy when it came to fan relations apparently.
