Happens the same way every single year for the last 8-10 years..
20 games left?
15-5
I'm not rooting for losses, but the pattern is fucking ridicous!
You’re not kidding. Then we get a bunch of people that think it’ll translate into a great next season. It’s like okay Matt Thaiss might have hit .300 with 3 homers and a dozen RBI in his last 20 games* but he’s still Matt Thaiss.
Narrator: Matt Thaiss did not do this. Ever.

Taking Diaz out after 7 batters. Wantz coming in.
I'm confused.
Nothing matters anymore.
Wheeeeeee.
It’s called playing the percentages.

How bad is the damn training staff lol. Can’t even take warm up swings at this point?
Seriously. Had the medical/training staff been the same for awhile?

Looking forward to signing him two years from now and the organization welcoming him back like we missed his bat.

RIP, Mickey.
He’s probably just pissed he wasn’t waived.

I honestly think it’s more entertaining to see them completely collapse every game than win. I mean let’s be real. Wins don’t mean crap now. So why not just watch the ship go down? Ohtani is gone. Nevin and Wise will probably be here next year because Arte is gonna Arte.
Barria continues to amaze though. What is that 16 runs in his last 5 innings?
-
Renfroe is an automatic out. I can see why Nevin put him in there.

Giolito has to be one of the all-time bad acquisitions. I’m looking forward to seeing him not here next year. And his 15-6 record with another team.
Also, Cabbage is chasing butterflies out there.

This is pretty much how I feel except I just chalk it up to saving money. I haven’t been to a game in 3 years.

Same list as yours but I'd add Ward and Thaiss as well. Get rid of the stench of mediocrity.
I would give Ward another chance as he was coming on before he got plunked. Thaiss I agree with just because I’m tired of looking at his face. And he sucks.

First time starting a thread so bear with me.
Who do you want out of Anaheim next year? I mean it doesn’t matter if it’s an expiring deal, a trade, someone fired, whatever. Who doesn’t deserve to be here? Aside from Arte since most of us want him to sell.
In a perfect world, I’d never see Barria, Suarez, Loup, Anderson, Wise, Nevin, Velazquez, Stefanic, Rendon, Renfroe, and Giolito wear Angels red again.
-
I’m assuming we drop this game and win the second game easily (6-1, or 9-2, etc) and people start saying we have a chance again?

Velazquez has no business being on a major league team. Unless he does the laundry.

Sounds like TJ surgery for Ohtani coming up.
Only if we sign him. He wins the Cy Young if we don’t.

Angels lose 3-2.
Ohtani homers twice and strikes out twelve but Loup and Estevez team up to win the game for Cincy.

GO ANGELS!!!
BIG CHANCE TO CUT INTO THAT 10-GAME WC ADVANTAGE SEATTLE HAS. M'S ARE BEHIND IN THE 7TH.
I have a chance to win the lottery and steal Kate Upton from Justin Verlander, too.

Trout might play once a week.
-
-
Honestly Loup sucks ass but after Estevez and his 9th inning antics, I’d have sent him out for the 10th.

Ohtani has cleared out his locker

39 homers on July 28th. Looked to be a shoo-in to break Troy’s record. Finished the season with 44. What could have been.
It might be awhile before we see any Angel come close to 40 homers, kids.
