    Yuck! .245/.330/.433 career with an eight year 5.2 career war (3.6 of which came from 2017). This would be a horrible mistake, IMHO. So welcome to the Angels Mr. Morrison!

    I'm for hiring Albert Pujols at his current salary and length of contract to be our hitting coach. I believe Pujols as coach, Hosmer at 1B, and Cron at DH would be the best improvement to our hitting in a generation. It would prove what a great hitting coach Pujols would be and justify the salary investment.

    Shouldn't Eppler and Mike ask Trout who he wants to bat in front and behind him? If the best player in baseball called and said you should come play for us, wouldn't most players be inclined to do so?

    Scott Shields used to be the best set-up man and, as I recall, was for the first half of that year but lost it. Donnelly was a great find for set-up and then IdiotRod took MLB by storm. That fast curveball was not hittable. So I would take 2002 relievers and today's starters.
