    What happened is this: the Angels are actually REALLY good now. It's drama for the sake of drama. We're not rolling Blanton out there every five days. Wells isn't here. The bullpen is amazing. Trout and Calhoun are studs. Pujols is OK, more or less. We're going to lose some games and some of those losses are going to suck. The sky doesn't seem to be falling.

    I just want to make sure that when we're talking about the amazing A's and how much better they are than the Angels, we're talking about the team that just went 4-5 against the Astros, Royals and Rays in their last nine games and has been three games worse than the Angels since the third week of the season. Man, the Angels suck.

    Holy moly, we're so fortunate to have this guy. Too bad he's gone in a couple of years. He'll never sign an extension with the Angels.

    3 wins would be nice. There's always that little part of your brain that thinks good things could happen. However, unlike with the Angels, whom I thought would be good this year while everyone else was pooping on them, I just don't see how they can really be any good. I really do want Dykes to succeed. He seems like a good guy.

    The Astros are in pretty much the same situation the Dodgers are in with a network that not everybody can get. I know quite a few people that are affected by this.
