  1. I've only had two beers. My alcohol tolerance must have decreased significantly as I'm clearly hallucinating. What the what?
  2. It's the first quarter of the first game. They'll be fine, I'm sure.
  3. Were there similarly stupid objections to Thundersticks?
  4. Dallas is alright. You should have made a few days of the trip and hit Austin up. It's fantastic.
  5. Screw you, pal. San Antonio is great.
  6. Yet you'd never hear such a statement about any of them like that on ESPN. USC is a really good school.
  7. AWESOME! Have you been to Austin before?
  8. It was brought up on the Cal board what a load of crap it was that somebody on ESPN would call USC a clown college like that. The fact of the matter is that NOBODY on ESPN would dare say something like that about an SEC school in a similar situation, and despite my exterior rivalry driven disdain for USC, SC is academically superior to each SEC school sans Vanderbilt. They'd be waxing on about tradition and how it's an aberration and that they'd be working hard on rectifying the situation. Screw ESPN. ...and USC, of course.
  9. Jeepers, people. Just do what's good for you and get a Galaxy S5 or an LG G3.
  10. Thanks for the math lesson, professor. You realize that I wasn't in any way serious, right?
  11. Double check the weather before heading out. I still can't understand why they didn't build an enclosed stadium.
  12. Everybody, commit to buying an extra beer at each game you attend. Let's do this. Of course, given where I attend Angels games, the Astros and Rangers would be pleased with this.
  13. Possibly, re: Ibanez. Scioscia has been much more proactive this year in many ways. He obviously didn't handle the Mathis/Naps situation well. Still, he's a HOF manager.
  14. I think he'd be hard pressed to make a convincing argument (when looking at his overall record as a manager) that Scioscia isn't one of the best of all time. If you want to consider last year, you have to consider this year. The fact stands: his record is Hall of Fame material. All you have to do to figure that out is look at the list of managers that have made the HOF and then look at their achievements.
  15. Well, the contact play blows. We can all pretty much agree on that. Thankfully, that's one of his few shortcomings.
  16. I was right here. Where were you?Of course he has something to do with everything that's happened in the last fifteen years. What of it? Would the organization be better off this year if he was fired in 2012 or 2013? Nope. Would we have 10 more wins this year? Nope. He's one of the best managers of all time. At the rate he's going, he's going to make the Hall of Fame as a manager. Sorry that you have had to endure a Hall of Fame worthy manager for a decade and a half. It's horrendous.
