Absolutely. I bet that they could have made an absolutely amazing 3+ hour film, but they'd make less than half as much as they will this way. I survived, but fell asleep at least once. We had Christmas breakfast early enough that I wasn't completely stuffed, so I had room for dinner and a brew during the show. The food at the Alamo Drafthouse is pretty solid, so there's that. -
And here's the review... The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Whateverthehells Jeebus. It peaked 15 minutes in. Once the dragon was dead, so was my interest in the film. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a: whenwillthisbeoveralready/10.

I got my XBone today. I decided to completely re do the travesty that was the wiring in the living room, so I don't have it up and running, but I'm pumped. I got GTA 5, Forza Horizon 2, Destiny and Kinect Sports. I can't wait to fire it up. I have to put off the install to go see the stupid Hobbit, but I'll be back at it in 500 hours or however long this POS happens to be.

So I absolutely loved the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I have the extended version of each film, can watch them endlessly and think they're amazing achievements in film making. However, despite most people I know loving the Hobbit films, I think they're absolute garbage. I was bored out of my mind watching the first Hobbit film. So much so that I completely avoided watching the second one. Well, a ticket was just bought for me to go see the third one tonight. I can think of 15 films that are out that I'd rather see than this. This series is such crap.

Who really gives a flying crap who plays James Bond? Shouldn't we get really serious about it and make it so that only actual agents can get the part? Don't get me started on how badly they damaged Batman by having Bale play the role.

If you're ok being locked into Amazon's ecosystem, it seems like a decent deal. I think an LG G2 for $80 or so more is a better deal, though I guess that lacks some of the appeal in that it wouldn't come with a Prime membership.

I dunno, but with the discounts they're offering, the xbox is now outselling the PS4 in the US. I think it just comes down to MS doing everything it can to move units, and it's working. I picked one up. It worked on me. I MUCH prefer the xbox interface to that of the PS4.

For him, yes. He's been at a JC due to injury, but each step of the way he's improved upon the school he was at previously in an academic sense. First he was at... USC, but he got injured and was pushed out by Kiffin due likely scholly issues. Then he went to a JC. Then he committed to WSU. Now he's committed to Cal. #winning -
