  1. Good idea, IP. I think the Yankees may bite on that too.
  2. Agreed. I'm sure Z took notes after watching the A's go all in this past season.
  3. Loved it. Just blazed through all 10 episodes the past 3 days. To me, it's right on par with GOT. I highly recommend this series. So addicting. Just fantastic! Can't wait for season 2.
  4. Oh yeah, Devon White for me as well. Always liked him and his talent. I was bummed when we let Glaus go too, despite having McPherson in the fold.. I thought Glaus could have been our full time DH, part time 3B/1B.
  5. Yeah, Morin is a lock to make the bullpen and get late inning duties. I hope Salas blows up in ST and the Angels cut him. That guy makes me nervous, as does Jepsen despite the season he had in 2014.
  6. Sherman Johnson is in our top 12. Dude, not even in your top-40? That's nuts Scotty. He has what it takes not only to be a major league utility man in the mold of Chone Figgins, but like Figgins, a starter in the big leagues. Anyhow, our list is coming out the first of the year. It's much different. We've gotten some good feedback from Ric Wilson, Angels scouts and some from outside scouts that Saltzer has talked to that influenced our list. Plus our own naked eye and evaluations. And yes, Andrew Heaney is our #1 Prospect after the trade. It was Newcomb.

  8. Ryan, Joyner, Abbott, Finley, Vlad and Hunter. I liked Howie a lot, but I'm neither bummed or sad he's gone. Probably because he fell short of reaching the goals we all thought he'd reach, such as becoming a batting champion (or even hitting over .300 regularly) and providing more power production. That and because I've already resigned that he'd be traded over the last couple years for pitching. Now he's on the Dodgers and well.... It's tough to root for anyone on the Dodgers for me. Wish him the best and I thank him for his contributions over the years.
  9. Elaina, Loved your dad, as did all of us here. Thank you so much for sharing with us here, a place your dad visited daily. Hopefully you can make it out to our Spring Fanfest event in Tempe, AZ on March 14th. We plan to do something for your dad on the evening of our dinner event. In case you missed it, I put together this slideshow from some pictures of your dad at our events or while he was enjoying the Angels among friends, many of which are from here.
  10. It's wise to save $$$ because you never know when you have to take on a large contract at the trade deadline or if injury hits sooner, before that.
  11. Kendrick has been so approachable in the clubhouse and field to us over the years. The first person I interviewed in the clubhouse back in 2009 with Howie Kendrick. He was incredibly friendly and gave me a good interview. I believe he was to Dave Saltzer as well. Who knows if he's hashtagging us or not, but he knows we're the good guys!
  12. The Dodgers severely overestimated Howie's value as well.
  13. MBell = Banned. No need to interact with him further.
  14. Not a veteran, but I'm pretty sure we're going to carry Efren Navarro for that role.
  15. Competition is good! Brings out the best in everyone. I think you can probably add Alex Yarbrough to the competition in ST as well.
