  1. Wow, you're butthurt level is through the roof. I'm going to put you in the "They hate us because they ain't us" group.
  2. Fan since '83. Everyone that has known me on this board for the past 10 years will tell you that. That said, there's always room on the bandwagon for more as long as they behave themselves in public. Like any fanbase, Angels included, you have a mix of douchebags, but for the most part I haven't met too many of those at the stadium or around the city in which I work 5 days a week.
  3. Yes I did. Shame on me, but so did most Seahawks fans and people knowledgeable of the game. Never again.
  4. I'm not sure you can factor luck when Russell Wilson is Mr. Clutch. Yeah the Packers screwed up on many levels throughout this game, but so did the Seahawks. The Packers got shut down four times in the red zone by our defense. If they score a TD in any of those series they win this game, but our defense was too good, holding Rodgers to under 200 yards and two picks.
  5. Well Baldwin has a great game, outside of his kick return fumble in the first quarter. Kearse had an absolute terrible game, but he made his one catch count to win the game. These guys just make big plays and are solid WR's, but it does make me wonder what Wilson would do with a AJ Green/Calvin Johnson type on the outside at WR.
  6. You're probably right. I tried to forget both of those games, though statistically Russell had a good game against the Rams. Just couldn't execute. Since the Chiefs game in KC, when we were 6-4, we won the rest of our games, going 4-0 against our division rivals.
  7. People said the same thing about our offense going up against the #1 rated O last season in the Super Bowl. The Seahawks played their worst game of the season and still won. Defense and making key plays on offense win championships.
  8. He is referring to so called NFL experts speaking negatively about Baldwin and Kearse's talent at the WR position.
  9. lol... Just like most said the Broncos were going to demolish us in the last Super Bowl. What's your problem with the Seahawks? Seriously, I don't know what's not to like. Great coach. Amazing running back & QB and the best defense in football the past 3 years.. We're going to take care of Brady and Belichek in Glendale.
  10. Having mid to upper 90's heaters is nice, if you have movement and good secondary pitches. Thing is, most relievers do not. Their heat is straight as an arrow and their secondary pitches are inconsistent to poor. Bottom line. Getting outs is what's most important, not registering triple digits on the radar gun.
  11. LOL. That would be epic. Seriously though, I hope you can attend dude!
  12. No, he doesn't. He just blindly accepts invitations to an event to have dinner with people he's never heard of before, then field questions from our staff and all the fans in attendance.
  13. I think it's high time you finally show up to this grand event. Better yet, show up and ask the Pujols/Hamilton question yourself.
  14. Confirmed. Jerry Dipoto to attend and speak at #AWFanfest15
  15. The contract includes an invitation to spring training. Mattheus was an important member of the Nationals' bullpen as recently as 2012, posting a 2.85 ERA over 66 1/3 innings of work, but injuries and inconsistency have knocked him in recent years. The 31-year-old will look to earn a bullpen job with the Halos in spring.
  16. Gattis is more of a backup catcher, not a starter. He will DH, play some LF, catch some, but play in most games.
  17. DH, backup C. But will play full time.
  18. For prospects.. Astros getting better.
  19. Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com reports that Cuban infielder Yoan Moncada still hasn't been cleared by Office of Foreign Asset and Control (OFAC) to sign with an MLB team. Moncada, who turns 20 in May, is a highly-coveted international prospect and could land a contract in the range of $30-40 million. Sanchez hears that the infielder has seven private workouts lined up with teams this month. The Yankees and Red Sox are expected to be major players, but they'll have plenty of competition. It's worth noting that Moncada is subject to the international spending limit, so teams will have to be willing to pay big money for the contract and the penalties for going over.
  20. The 2014 Angels were NOT a 98 win team heading into the season, either. Just saying! There were a lot of things that went right in '14, but there were also a lot of things that went wrong. Key injuries. Rough BP start. Hamilton. No Production from DH spot. Losing Richards for the final 5 weeks. Sputtering down the stretch, heading into the playoffs.
  21. I wasn't born until '70, so I don't remember. lol Pretty awesome retro pic though.
