  1. Only if I happen to be there. I won't purchase tickets just to go boo a player.
  2. Tomorrow is up in the air. I should have picked tomorrow over tonight, but I got these tickets a few weeks ago. I'll let you know if I go. Either way, we should get a beer in Seattle before you head to the game if I do or don't attend tomorrow's game.
  3. I will, Cez. Paxton has had our number. The offense better be sharp and C.J. better not be too cute with his pitches.
  4. The finger are for those butthurt about this. I'm fine with those concerned about the comments being perphaps a bit much, my middle finger is toward those offended and butthurt over Carpino and Dipoto's comments. Sorry, but I do not think the Angels looked like douchebags with their comments. Just my take.
  5. C.J. Wilson, LHP 0-0, -.-- ERA Wilson is coming off his worst season in five years as a Major League starter, posting a 4.51 ERA and walking an American League-leading 85 batters in 175 2/3 innings. Over his last 16 regular-season starts, Wilson gave up 51 runs in 76 innings. vs. James Paxton, LHP 0-0, -.-- ERA Despite a shaky spring, Paxton has been slotted into the No. 2 spot in the rotation. The 26-year-old lefty has been outstanding when healthy (9-4, 2.66 ERA in 17 career starts) and is 2-1 with a 2.59 ERA in four games against the Halos. Lineups to be posted when available. Beat that ass tonight, Halos. I will be in attendance to root you on! Let's get this!
  6. Sounds like a dick. I would never go pay to watch a game just to boo someone.
  7. They connect with the fans when they hit home runs, or just help the team win. St. Louis fans feel much differently toward Pujols than most Angels fans. They love him, even though he accepted more money to leave their team.
  8. You guys need to separate the player, the human, from their availability to sign baseballs and memorabilia from old dudes, while in uniform. I'm sorry, but if I'm a Major League Baseball player, I'm only signing for kids, the handicapped, cute chicks and older ladies. Weirdos (mostly collectors) have ruined this experience for every normal dude, baseball man out there. GET OVER IT. Albert has proven himself over time that he's not only one of the greatest on the field, but an exceptional human being that has done a lot for others less fortunate in the community, for kids born with down syndrome. To me, an experience a fan has with a player shouldn't dictate what type of human being they are. They are paid to play the game, then go home and be there for their family, be available to the community who is lacking. I'm sorry you had a bad run in with Pujols, Claude. I too had a experience with Darin Erstad and Reggie Jackson, but to this day, they're still two of my favorite players. I have always refused to judge them based on these isolated experiences because I know they're busy, they have a life and they are most likely good people until proven otherwise.
  9. Good for Carpino and Dipoto for speaking against the judgement. I have ZERO issues with what they said. Can't believe people are butthurt about this, still. I'm betting the same people wouldn't be silent if they invested MILLIONS of dollars in something only for the investment (Josh Hamilton) give a big F U back to them. ....................../´¯/) ....................,/¯../ .................../..../ ............./´¯/'...'/´¯¯`·¸ ........../'/.../..../......./¨¯\ ........('(...´...´.... ¯~/'...') .........\.................'...../ ..........''...\.......... _.·´ ............\..............( ..............\.............\...
  10. He must have refrained from the Phoenix/Tempe strip clubs last night.
  11. Says the east coast dude who didn't watch an inning of the game.
  12. Weaver wasn't his best but the ump was clearly giving calls to the hometown team. Weaver wasn't getting calls, Felix and their staff were.
  13. Richards should be pitching this game against Felix. I like our chances against Iwakuma better than against Hernandez. Weaver is a decent #3, good #4 guy now... If CJ, Shoemaker and Richards can get it done, have ERA's under 4, we'll be fine. King Felix is on the Clayton Kershaw level of pitchers guys. We're going to get dominated by this guy 3 out of 5 times.
  14. I love the sky is falling crowd. Went 0-3 to start the season against the M's last season. Finished with the best record in baseball. Chill....
  15. The Blue Jays are up 3-0 on the Yankees and Tigers are up 3-0 on the Twins early on.
  16. Thanks Fletch, A-Gone and Digi for spending time with us on March 13th. You guys were fantastic!
  17. Monday 4/6, 4:10 PM ET at Safeco Field Angels @ Mariners (0-0) (0-0) Jered Weaver, RHP 0-0, -.-- ERA Weaver takes the ball for his franchise-record seventh Opening Day start and sixth in a row. The 32-year-old right-hander, entering his 10th season, won an American League-leading 18 games last year while posting a 3.59 ERA in 213 1/3 innings. Felix Hernandez, RHP 0-0, -.-- ERA The Mariners ace makes his club-record eighth Opening Day start and seventh straight, which will be the longest streak by any active Major Leaguer. Hernandez is 5-0 with a 1.52 ERA on Opening Day and beat the Angels in last year's debut in Anaheim. Lineups coming soon!
  18. I wonder if she has to leave the streets of Gold when Donnie Moore struts down the street?
